AT THE SOUND OF CLASSICAL MUSIC playing on the speakers and the lights switching on, every player was jolted from their sleep rather suddenly, (Y/n) blinking her eye open to see that she had stayed cuddled in Sang-woo's lap the entire night, sitting up with a stretch just as said man awoke as well.

"So you stayed after all, huh?" He yawned as he scratched the stubble that continued to grow with each passing day on his face.

"Naturally," she smirked.

Before their conversation could continue any farther, the sound of the buzzer made them turn around to spot four circle-masked guards enter the room holding a coffin, only then noticing 069's body that hung from the stairwell by a noose, having taken his own life since he couldn't bare the guilt and torment of losing his wife.

"Player 069, eliminated," the woman on the PA system announced.

More money was added to the bank above.

The count was down to 17 players.

"Attention, all players," the woman began to speak again. "The fifth game is about to begin. Please follow all staff's instructions and swiftly make your way towards the game hall."

(Y/n) turned and planted a kiss on Sang-woo's lips—effectively startling him and making his cheeks heat up—before standing up and directing herself in the line that was forming in the middle of the room. Since Gi-hun had tugged Sang-woo into line in front of him, he wasn't able to stand with the girl who was now at the back of the line, glancing back every so often just to make sure that she was still there.

But on one time when he wasn't looking, Woo-jin—who had been standing beside her—slipped her a piece of paper.

"What's this for?" She murmured as she tucked it into her pocket so that no one else saw it.

"More information."

"For the next game?"

"Yes."
