THAT NEXT MORNING, (Y/N) AWOKE feeling a bit sore, but other than that, she felt very rejuvenated and ready to play tug of war—the next game she and the others would be participating in as was painted on the wall.

But as she opened her eyes, she realized that she was leaning against someone.

That someone being Sang-woo.

She noticed that he was already awake, but had taken no move to shake her off, and when sensing her move from the corner of his eye, he glanced down to meet her gaze. Something clearly sparked between them—whether it be animosity or something different—but both of them ignored whatever it was and broke apart from each other just as the classical music playing on the speakers switched to The Blue Danube.

"Attention, players," the woman on the PA system began to speak. "The third game will begin momentarily. Please follow the staff's instructions and swiftly make your way towards the game hall. Let me repeat the instructions..."

As the woman spoke, four triangle-masked guards—including Triangle 002—stepped forward to lead them to the third game. As they made all of the players line up in a single file line to guide out of the door, (Y/n) made sure that she was at the end of the line where Triangle 002 would be, ignoring the way Sang-woo glanced at her suspiciously. He didn't know why, but something about the way she interacted with the guards rubbed him the wrong way, and he didn't know if it was because she was trying to use them, or if it was because he didn't want to see her so blatantly smiling with them instead of him.

Scowling to himself, he turned away from her.

(Y/n) frowned when seeing his reaction, but shrugged it off as she then glanced upward at Triangle 002 whom was walking beside her.

He hadn't made a move to speak or look at her.

She knew that he obviously knew that she did something with Yeong-gi, and she was sure that he didn't want to know. Whether it be because he didn't want to acknowledge that she chose Yeong-gi over him or something else, she didn't know, but that didn't mean she wanted to cut off contact with him entirely.
