The first day of the war was a disaster. Half of the Camp, my former home was destroyed. Annihilated. Makeshift tents were made for the abled demigods while the Injured took the whole of Apollo Cabin and the Infirmary. There were so many injured demigods. We were about to run out of stock of Ambrosia and Nectar. By the time I took the last injured demigod to the cabin, it was well into the night.
I wished Jason was around. But now being the temporary king of the gods, he already had his plate full. Now being the commander of the Chaos army, it felt so pressurizing. I had no idea how Jason managed the pressure. It was too much.
I went to Chaos to report. When I reached, I saw another person. Hariharan Sivakumar. He was talking to Chaos in a serious tone. Chaos looked deep in thought. Which was rare. Which meant something disastrous was to happen.
"Chaos! I have come to report about today.", I said.
"No need Luke. Hari here had filled me in. You were busy with the injured. Today was not a good day.", he sighed.
"We need help. Apollo and Asclepius alone cannot handle so many injured.", I said.
"The Ashwini Twins have arrived. They are the gods of Medicine and the Doctor of the Devas. They will assist Apollo.", Hari explained.
"Good. Luke. Hari here wants to have a small chat with you.", Chaos said and vanished.
"What is the matter?", I asked with an eyebrow raised. I still had a hard time believing his innocence. Had it not been for Percy, I would have teared him apart for what happened to Thalia.
"I need your help. Not me, but Percy!", he said and I looked at him confused.
"What with Percy?", I asked.
"Not him. His family. Protect them. Bring them to safety. A protection. Else they would have a leverage. And considering Percy's flaw, it would be disastrous for us.", Hari explained. It made sense. I nodded.
"Also, Justin's.", he added.
"Why?!", I asked.
"He is the traitor according to the enemy. They would want to torture them. Justin's mother is in danger. We need both of them here for safety.", he said. I nodded.
"Fine. I will help.", I relented.
"Thank you. I shall talk to Justin's Mother. With the help of one of the seven Chiranjeevis, please escort Percy's family safely to the Camp. Please!", he begged and went through a portal.
I sighed. I called my team. They all arrived, battered, bruised and tired.
"What is the matter Commander?", Zoe asked.
"We have a mission. Escort Percy's family safely to the Camp. I shall go with one of the seven Chiranjeevis.", I said.
"Why one of them. Why not two of us?", Zoe asked.
"Because we would be caught off guard if any Hindu demon attacks us.", Chaos promptly said.
"That makes sense.", Michael said.
"Who shall we choose?", I asked.
"Who is the best warrior of the Chiranjeevis?", Castor asked.
"No idea.", I replied.
"Either that Monkey or that Old teacher. Both fought like death manifested on earth. They were untouched and uninjured the whole time." Zoe said.
"Oh! You mean Hanuman or Parashurama! I recommend Hanuman. He can fly faster than the winds and can increase his size at will. He would be the best for Luke.", Chaos said.
