"Wake up Will!!" El shook his arm, he nudged her away with his free arm and folded his pillow over his head. "We have school Will-"

Will lifted his hand up and the door swung open, "I'll never get used to that..." she sighed and walked out of the room, closing the door behind her.

The sun peeked through the blinds into his bedroom causing a shadow of lines to appear on his face. He got up from his bed and threw on whatever t-shirt and jeans he could find in his drawer.

"This'll do..." He mumbled and pulled the striped blue and yellow t-shirt over his head. He tied up his black vans and walked out the door. Thank god they were still waiting for him...he was NOT going to take the bus.

"Finally..." Jane complained and Joyce backed out of the driveway.

"It's your first day back after break, you excited?" She tried her best to sound cheerful.

"Yeah, I guess." Jane managed to muster a smile. Will looked at the back of her head, as if he could see her clearly face to face. He felt bad for her...what were people going to say?

All throughout the day, Will heard whispers all around him and was constantly getting weird looks for hanging out with his own sister after what happened at Rink-O-Mania.

"Did you hear what she did? She's so weird." One girl gossiped.

Will turned around and glared at the girl- not really helping the matter.

"What's up with you?" She laughed and so did her friend. "What, cats got your tongue?!" Her friend burst out in laughter, though I wouldn't say it was a laughing matter.

Wills emotions got the best of him; they always seemed to. It was almost as if he had blacked out. 'Cause the next thing he knew, her books were across the room, papers everywhere and they were looking at him like he was evil.

"Will Byers!" The teacher yelled from the front of the class. All eyes were on him.

He wasn't sure if he had thrown the books himself or if it was all in his head...nothing seemed real anymore. He felt as if he was floating underwater. He ran out the class, heart pounding out of his chest.

What would happen if someone had found out about his powers? Would the FBI or military get involved? Would he be taken captive and get tested on like El was once? He'd probably get hunted by the government...as if he were their own little secret.

He walked into the boys bathroom and locked himself in a vacant stall. He wasn't going to cry about this if that's what you thought. Everything was too stressful for him, he just couldn't get himself to cry; he felt numb.

"How was your first day back?" Joyce attempted to ask her son when he got into the passenger seat. They weren't exactly on the same page the last couple hours they were back.

"It was fine, I guess." He laid his head on the window as him mom drove home. She occasionally looked over, just to check up on him.

She cleared her throat awkwardly, "and El, how was your day?" She smiled.

"It was nice...people won't stop talking about me though." She frowned.

"I'm sure they'll get over it soon enough, if it makes either of you feel better, I thought about moving back." She especially looked at Will saying the last part.

He couldn't help but at least smile a little bit, but he also grimaced at the thought of going back to Hawkins. Everything would flood back at him like a tsunami coming for land.

Vecna had him once and he could surely have him again, sooner or later.
