🌟 WHEW! Chapter 13 wound up being 10.4K words long (Not including my notes). How did the playlist work for you guys? If it didn't work, I have a screenshot of the songs on the list you can search and play. I'll post it at the end of this spiel.
It was only right that I make this a long chapter since the story is about to start shifting for both Tahiri & Jin. So we needed to see the change in their relationship with one another.
I also noticed how I'd been giving Tahiri more screen time in the story, so from this point out, I'll do my best to let Jin speak a lot more before I change the character POV.
I originally wasn't planning on doing a smut for this chapter, but after waiting for this chapter for an entire month, YOU GUYS DESERVED IT & IT WAS A GOOD ONE! It is currently 5:22AM for me. I didn't want to sleep without finishing and uploading this chapter tonight.
I struggled quite a bit with writing dialogue for this chapter. That was also a reason I added more gifs of Jin because those specific ones you get to see his emotions play out on his face and they align with how he's currently feeling in the story.
Before anyone jumps the guns in the comment section about the unprotected sex so early on between them, just know stuff like this happens in real life. For the sake of my storyline, there's a few reasons for this and you'll find out why later on in the story. (No not the next three-four chapters, more like the next seven or eight? Depends on how I feel. 🤷🏽♀️)
I hope everyone had a safe and wonderful holiday. I'll be sure to post the next chapter in a few days. But I think 50 pages should be enough to hold you all over for a bit.
