2. Home, At Last

14 hours later...

I yawned and stretched my body like a cat. I'd slept majority of the flight. Only getting up to eat and use the restroom. There wasn't much turbulence and I was very happy about that. That was the worst and scariest part about flying for me. I gathered my belongings and exited the aircraft.

It didn't take long for me to receive my luggage. I had seven bags. Which is a lot, but I was staying for a while, so I needed everything I'd packed. Once I made it outdoors, I saw a man with my name on a sign. I called my mom. She was at work but I knew she would answer.

"Are you here? Is the driver there?" She answered excitedly and I had to chuckle at that.

"Yes ma'am, he's loading my bags in the car now."

"Great! I'm getting off within the next hour, so I will meet you at your hotel." She worked the night shift for a friend of hers at the hospital. Normally, she ran her own clinic.

"Sounds good to me." I looked down at my watch and yawned. It was 9 o'clock in the damn morning. I was gonna be jet-lagged like a mutha later on. I'd better get more sleep if I was gonna go out with the boys tonight.

"Okay. I love you mommy. Drive safely please. I'll see you soon." After telling me she loved me back, I hung up the phone.

I climbed in the car once again after all my bags were inside. "Home sweet home." I smiled and said to myself.

"Welcome home Ms. Baek." My driver told me before starting the 52 minute drive to my hotel my father and mother had paid for me to stay in while I was here.

I told them they didn't need to do it and I could just stay at home, but they refused. I was a little appalled, but my mom said, "'You're young, beautiful, and have an amazing body like I did at that age. These men are gonna flock to you like flies on shit. That's what your father did to me. You might just wanna get some...you know what I'm talking about.'" She left me with my mouth opened. But she was laughing so hard, I couldn't help but join in with her. She was right though. It had been a while since I'd had sex. I wasn't gonna get my hopes up though. I had a few toys packed in one of my suitcases. I hadn't had any action since I'd broken up with my ex two years ago. I'd be just fine without it.

I checked my emails and messages while I had nothing to do. Doing this made time fly by for me. I had my AirPods in my ears and my playlist was vibing out. Currently, 134340 by BTS was playing. I loved this song. Whosever idea it was to make a song about the planet Pluto was pure genius! Suga's part came on and I rapped the whole verse with him. He was my bias out of the group. Plus, astrologically, he was my perfect mate. Me being a Scorpio and him being a Pisces.

The back door opening slightly startled me. I didn't realize we stopped. I looked up at my driver and he was trying not to laugh. "I guess you didn't hear me then,"

I laughed and shook my head. "No I didn't, what did you say?" I grabbed my backpack off the seat and climbed out.

"Welcome to the Four Seasons. Have a good stay. Again, welcome home." he offered his hand for me to shake and I did.

I watched as he and the bellhop put my bags onto the cart. When they were done, I thanked my driver and went inside the hotel. This was my favorite hotel. I've stayed in many different ones for work and The Four Seasons, no matter where I went, was top tier. This one looked like it wouldn't be any different.
