Chapter four

*harper's pov*

Sophie arrived at the house and the plan was put into action. I was all over nick and she was trying to flirt with chris and matt. At one point the triplet's mom came into the living room and took them for a private talk, most probably about why some strangers were in her house.

This meant that Sophie and i were alone. She told me how she thought that matt and chris were cute but i closed her down when i told her they were gay so she decided to 'settle for nick'. The plan was working.

Soon after the boys came back and chris and Matt sat either side of me and nick sat next to chris. Since Sophie was on the side next to matt she moved over next to nick. Matt and chris both held back a laugh.

She was all over nick rubbing his arm and cuddling up to him. Nick looked uncomfortable so i invited him to sit in between matt and i. Of course he accepted, Sophie wasnt very happy. She asked me for a private talk.

We walked into the kitchen and she told me that she wants to ask nick out. I told her that i think i like nick and I've known him longer so i think that i should go for it and she said that we should see who he picks. Suddenly, i felt a presence behind me.

"Hey girls. What are we talking about here?" It was chris

"Oh hey matt we were just talking about how harper has a crush on nick isnt that hilarious" Sophie emphasised me having a crush on nick so he could hear.

"I'm chris but ye i guess that's funny in some ways" chris said looking back towards nick who had gone red.

"Hey nick could i ask you a quick question?" Sophie ran over to nick and held his hands

"I guess" nick looked so uncomfortable i felt bad

"So i really like you and so does harper." She started "so who do you pick me or that?"

"Ok well first of all NEVER call my new best friend 'that' and second of all im gay so none of you" nick started laughing which caused us all to laugh. Sophie looked around confused and feeling humiliated.

"Omg I definitely moving now how could you make friends with only gay boys like what the hell you never make friends with gay boys dont you remember our number one rule?" She started to get worked up

"For starters they arent all gay matt and chris are straight." I started " i think?"

"Ye we are." Matt said from behind nick.

"Right. Also that was really homophobic and i never agreed for that to be our number one rule that was yours not mine. Mine is not to stay friends with bad people. Like really bad people. Remember that's why you always looked out for me when i would make friends and you told about how that spoke about me behind my back." I started to raise my voice.

She smiled "right they definitely spoke about you"

"what do you mean by that" i step closer to her

"i told you that so you wouldn't have any friends to bother and you would just have me" chris walked out from behind me, but suddenly their mother appeared from out of no where.

"Excuse me young lady how dare you talk about my children and their new friend that way if i got my way i would of kicked you both out as soon as i got home. However the boys told me about their plan and how harper had told them you were not the nicest of people so i let the plan happen." I was very shocked at this but not gonna lie i was very happy and i was almost jumping up and down. Sophie was speechless. "But i was listening in when i heard you being homophobic? Really? I didn't believe my ears but when you started verbally assaulting to your supposed best friend i knew that was enough" she looked like she was about to pop a vein. "Get. Out. Of. My. House." She pointed towards the door and Sophie ran out crying.

The boys and i sat in the living room and watched a movie and their mom, who i learnt her name was Mary-Lou, made us some snacks. I was getting comfy on the couch and was leaning on chris and had my legs up on matt and nick, when there was a knock on the door. Mary-Lou went to open it and in walked my brothers with box of snacks and bags of chips and cans of Pepsi.

"You finally got rid of her" jay said walking in and moving my legs so he could sit between matt and nick. The triplets shared a confused look.

"These are my brothers" i reassured them. I stood up and let jack and ben sit where I was. "So how did you guys find out?"

"She came home in a mood and she tried to take the car but we stopped her she said that we had to move out because she payed for most of it" jay explained "and the worst part is she said she was going to get a lawyer. She want the house and the car."

"She cant have the car i payed that in full and the house is in your name she doesn't have any proof but i will pay her the money back soon but i will need to get that" i looked to jay.

"Two jobs have accepted you up to now. The best ones too"  ben told me

"Really? Already? Woah i guess the money will come up soon." I say taking a seat on the floor.
