All the Fallen immediately flew back to their respective territories as soon as the party and meeting ended, as did most other High Royals and nobles with only a few stragglers intending to go out one more time and either fly back in the morning before sunrise, or get a hotel in the city to hang around for a little afterwards. I went to a club with Scarlett, Reid, and Bash for a bit then they headed to some bar to meet Sterling and Chloe. Chloe would rather walk across hot coals than be near me and I don't particularly want to deal with that tonight. I tried to enjoy the bleeders and the music and whatever else but 'I'm wondering if I've made a grave error in trusting you,' repeated over and over in my head.

Grayson keeps staring at me from a far. If I make the mistake of making eye contact with him I flash my red and black eyes which is successful in keeping him away, no matter how much that damaged part of my brain wants him to come over. On top of that Henry is here with Niko and a few others, I keep looking over at him imagining all the ways I'd make him suffer.

I'm set to meet Victoria in a few minutes so I make my way over to Henry- perfect timing Niko's leaving so one less prick in the way of giving Henry a sneak peek of what's to come.

Arriving at Zade's bar, picking the dried blood from my cuticles as I walk in, Zade's eyes nearly fall out of his head. Jareth was there surprisingly but he just waved and went to his back office without saying another word. With a thundering heart Zade brings me to the back where Victoria's waiting at the door of the Silent Room.

Victoria opens the door letting me into the room. Closing and locking it, the glamours disappear and I go directly to the coffee table when I spot a bottle of vodka on it. I pour myself a glass of straight vodka to further my slight intoxication and maybe I won't hear my fathers voice in my head 'I'm wondering if I've made a grave error in trusting you.' "What's up?" I ask. She doesn't go to Zade's unless she's going to be talking about something she absolutely doesn't want anyone else hearing.

"First- I'd appreciate it, if you don't tell anyone about what Henry did to me." She says as we both sit down on the large sectional couch.

"I won't." I say genuinely. "When did that happen?" I ask crossing one leg over the other.

"At my first Ascension. He wanted to be the first High Royal to get with Lucien's daughter." She shakes her head as she lowers it. "I was 17," she raises her head back up, "he was my uh..." She stops. Her eyes survey my face, really focuses in on my eyes and I wish they could show anything other than that cold nothingness I hear others say they do but I know they won't.

I feel that uncomfortable crawling under my skin of the back of my neck. "First?" I say ignoring it. She nods with a muscle feathered in her jaw. "Say the word and I'll tear him apart."

"Maybe during the impending Kendrick- Lucien nonsense, I'll join you on it." She says, gripping tightly at her lightly shaky hands. "So you're fucking Grayson now?" She switches the conversation.

"No. Once, it was one time." I glare at her looking at me with her lips pressed together trying not to laugh or smile or something. "Stop making that face. I was coming to tell you before but you cannot tell anyone."

"I won't." She holds up her hands then lowers them back down. "Do you still hate him?" She asks.

"Yes. This was purely hate sex." I finish the remainder of my glass.
