Cotl:Rise of the Crownless God

Part 1:Reborn?

I woke sudden, breathing heavily

My felt around my neck and felt nothing on it

Ok how am I alive, I know that wasn't a dream since I physically felt everything and also I didn't sleep in the middle nowhere last night

I look around to only see a bunch of trees in all directions, I rubbed my eyes to see if I was seeing things by when I did I saw that my hand looked different, in fact my whole body looked different

I looked at my body, it seems that I somehow became a humanoid black-wooled lamb

Not gonna lie my wool which I guess is my clothes was very comfortable, I can get used to this, wait getting of topic where am I?

As I am looking around I noticed a shadow near a tree, I looked at them carefully since I don't know if they are friendly or not

They came out of the shadow to show a hooded person with a sacrificial knife

When I saw the knife I knew he wasn't friendly, so when he rushed me I was ready for him

He swings the knife, I dodged and managed to disarm him by kicking the knife out of his hand, I then punch the enemy in the face causing them to get pushed away a little from me

The enemy managed to recover and tried to rush for the knife, I caught onto this and quickly uppercut them, and while they were stunned I grabbed the knife stabbed their throat

Blood went everywhere and completely drenched the knife as I pulled the knife out I noticed more enemies

There was two that had sword/spear like weapons and a green bush creature thing

I got ready to fight since I wasn't sure if I would be able to out run them, also if they are a problem then I would rather deal with them now then later

The two enemies with the spear-like weapons rushed me, one of them swing and I dodge while also going pass them, the other one went for a downward slash which I blocked

I noticed that the one I dodge a second ago is coming back so I pushed the tip of the spear to the side and dodge in time to make the one behind me accidentally stab the one in front of me

They noticed their mistake but it was too late as I quickly grab the sword-tipped spear weapon, swinging it horizontally and sliced their head off

I remembered there was a green bush creature just as it was about to pounce on me, I rolled to the side and with my new weapon in hand I proceeded to stab the creature in the head killing it instantly

I pulled out the blade and looked at the damage I caused

Disgusting

I wiped the blood off with a cloth I got when I searched the bodies

They didn't really have that much on them, they only had a robe and weapons which I gladly took off them since they can't use it anymore

I looked at the two sword-tipped spears and had a idea, I took the two sword-tipped spears and broke the wooden staff handle on one of them in half, I then took off the sword-tipped part of the not broken spear, and finally I slipped on the tightened the sword-tip piece onto the broken end of the wooden staff

In the end I made a glave, which I am pretty impressed that I managed to do but anyway I tested out my new makeshift weapon on a conveniently placed wood dummy

I did a few combos and got a decent understanding of how to use it in a fight, well enough so I don't accidentally stab or cut myself

I also decided to use my knife as a melee/throwing weapon

I used the dummy as a target as I threw the knife at it, after a few tries I was impressed that I have never missed the dummy once so I started doing harder throws, like throwing while moving, jumping, sliding, and finally quick throw where I basically turn quickly to the direction of the dummy or enemy and throw the knife instantly, like how a cowboy quick draws, turn around, and shoot in a instant like in a draw

These skills might be useful later but I should keep moving since idk if there will be more of them coming and I don't want to face a big group yet until I can completely hold my own against at least 3 enemies

I left the area and walked in a random direction, I kept on walking until I found a open spot in the forest

This should be a good spot to rest I thought as I gathered resources around the forest and brought it back to the open space

When I gathered enough resources I started to build a wooden house, after a while I finished building it and took a step back to admire my work

I should plants some berries so I can have a stable food supply, I don't want to starve after all I thought as I went to prepare some farmland

It took a while to do but I managed to make I a decent size farmland it takes up about 12 square spots(idk what is the exact length and width of each square so work with me)

I planted the berries in the farmland then watered them, after watering them, I put the new watering can that I made somehow away and then I when to my wooden house that had a grass sleeping bag in it

It is better than nothing I thought as I laid down on the sleeping bag and covered myself with the cover

I guess this is my life now, well at least I can have peace and quiet and I can explore the world if I want and thankfully...I will never see that 'demon' ever again...
