Chapter 5

"Do you want me to drive?" Jen asks me. "Umm, yeah I want to take a little nap." I explain as I itch my heavy dry eyes. The sound of grumble sounds as I pull off to the side, so we can switch. Once she pulls back into the interstate, I close my eyes and I instantly fall asleep. I have been driving for about 5 hours and we still have about 3 hours left to drive.

FLASHBACK/DREAM

"Hey. Wake up....." I open my eyes and Amy is front of my standing at the side of my bed. "Your mom let me in." She explains. "What? Why? Why are you here?" I say confused from my slumber that I just woke up from. I sit up and rub my eyes. "I know it's early, but I want to know what happened last night!" She whines. I had forgotten that Nathan kissed me and walked me home. "I forgot about that." I say to her and smile, happy at the fact that it was indeed real. "So?" She looks at me. "We walked to my house, he told me liked me, and we kissed." I tell her my smile only growing bigger. "You kissed him?" She shouts in excitement. "He kissed me." I bit my lip. "Oh my God. How did it feel? Was it just a peck kiss or was it a kiss?" "It it was an actual kiss... with tongue." I admit. "This is gold. I can't wait to rub it in that girl Jozlyn's face." She tells me. "What why?" I ask. "Because all she does is talk about how she wants to talk to him and it annoyed me." She rolls her eyes. Jealousy flows through me knowing that not only her, but a lot of girls want Nathan at our school. I remind myself that Nathan admitted to liking me last night and a lot of girls heart were broken when Nathan's lips were in sync against mine. "I was kind of nervous to tell you." I admit. "What? Why?" She says confused. "I thought you liked him." I explain. "Holly Jackson, I think, well everyone thinks that he's beyond hot of course I liked him! Who doesn't? But if he likes you and you like him, then you don't have to worry about me. I'm so happy for you!" She says hugging me. "Thank you. It's cause you seemed pretty upset at me yesterday." I pull away from her hug. "Well yeah he rejected me flat out I was upset, but I am so over it." She assures me. "Okay." I smile. "

My phone vibrates on my nightstand and I grab it and look at it. "Nathan's calling." I inform Amy. "Oh God!" she smiles clapping her hands together in excitment. She kisses my cheek and says, "Goodbye girl." She winks and grabs her purse and walks out my room closing the door behind her. I quickly press accept as soon as she leaves the room and put the phone to my ear. "Hello?" I say through the phone. I'm so nervous to be talking on the phone with him. "Good morning, beautiful." Nathan's raspy morning voice says and it sounds beyond sexy. I chuckle and I feel my face get hot. "What?" he giggles. "Don't say that." "What? Call you beautiful?" "Yes, it makes me nervous.." "And smile" he interupts. "I bet you your smiling right now because I called you beautiful......you're so beautiful Holly." My smile spreads across my face. I can't contain it. "Nathan..." I cant help the way that makes me feel. My hear flutters and I feel genuinely happy. "Nathan do you think you can come over to my house. You know where I live." I ask.

The door bell rings and my heart drops and I run down the flight of stairs to answer the door. Before me and Nathan got off the phone he said he would be there in a hour. In that hour, I did my makeup and got casually dressed. I left my hair it its natural beach wave hair. I open the front door and Nathan is right there. "Hi." I smile at him. "Hi, beautiful." He smirks. "Shut up." I laugh and he laughs with me. "Are you parents here? I'd like to introduce myself." "There not, Saturday mornings are breakfast at my grandparents house then grocery shopping afterwards. Do you want to go up to my room?" I ask him. "Sure." he smiles. I grab his hand and lead him up the stairs and into my bedroom. I close the door behind us and lock it. He notices that I lock it and looks at me. "So....um... what do you want to do?"He asks. "Do you want to watch a movie?" I suggest. "Yeah." He smiles.

In hour in Finding Nemo and we're laying on the bed, together. He grabs my head to face him. "Hey." he says and he starts to caress my cheek with my thumb. "What?" I say looking into his eyes. "Can I tell you something?" "Yeah." I smile. "You're the most beautiful girl I've seen, Holly and I want to spend more time with you." He explains. "I want to spend more time with you, too." I tell him. He smiles and pulls my face to his and kisses me. His tongue pushes into mine and uses both of my hands to hold my head. I climb over on top of his lap and his hands travel to my hips and they dig into them. I feel hot and turned on. I stop kissing his lips and start to kiss his neck. "Holly stop." he says. "What?" I look at him. The embarrassment is hard not to hide on my face. I get off his lap and sit on the edge of my bed. "Holly." He says to me. I turn my head to look at him and raise my eyebrow. "Holly, look at me." He says sitting next to me. I look at him. "That was embarrassing." I admit. "Holly if I let you continue, then at one point there's no going back." "Is that so bad?" "I want to of course. That's not the problem. I want to wait on your behalf." "On my behalf?" I laugh. "I want to." I tell him. "Are you a virgin?" he asks. "Ugh well, yeah." I admit. "See. I want to earn that because I like you so much and if I just took it because you gave it up it wouldn't feel right." "Oh." I smile, knowing that his intentions are good.
