"It's called Blue's Roadhouse." Kaleb says through the line. "Where is it by?" I ask him. "It's by Lake Denim, it's actually right on it. It's beautiful there." He explains. "I can't wait." I admit. "Me too." I can hear how anxious he is. We hang up the phone and I start to get ready for my date. This is my first date with someone else other than Nathan in over two years. I'm extremely nervous. I don't even know why. I go down to the waterfall and stick my feet in the fresh water to calm my nerves. It does.

After I take a shower, I do my make up and let my hair air dry. I choose a white lace dress for the night and I wear some black combat boots. I actually wear eyeliner this time and do a smokey eyeshadow effect. I straighten my hair and spray a dash of perfume to my neck and wrists. It's about to be 7 and he said to meet him there at eight so I lock up the house and drive off.

The thirty minutes to town is slow. I feel like I can sweat all my makeup off just by being nervous. I look over the passenger side and find a beach bag from yesterday when I went down to lake. I remember that I left a bottle of wine in there. I slow down off to the side of the road and pull the beach bag onto my lap. I search through it and find the bottle. The aroma of the wine dances through the bag as I pull it out. The cork is tightly inserted in the bottle but I force it off. I close it again when I realize I still have to drive about 10 minutes to get to town.

When I find a parking space at Blue Roadhouse, I turn off the car and chug down the last of the wine. It wasn't so much, probably around two glasses worth. I throw the bottle into the bag and toss it to the passenger side. I look at the time and it's 7:47 p.m. I sit in my truck for about 5 minutes to recollect. I see Kaleb walking down the through the parking lot and into the restaurant. He walked I guess, I didn't see him get out of a car. I hop out of my truck and adjust my dress. My truck locks and I start to make my way inside the restaurant. The hostess asks for how many, but I say that I'm meeting someone. She nods and I look around for Kaleb. I text him to ask him about his whereabouts. He says he's towards the back on the outside. When I open the door to the outside my eyes open wide. We're right on the bay of a very large lake. I smile when I spot Kaleb. When I take a seat across from him at the table I say, "This is so beautiful." "Told you." He smirks. "Oh my God." I say and block the sun from my eyes as I look across the shining water. "Do you like it?" He asks. "No." I shrug. "I'm just kidding, yes. Of course, I like it. It's beautiful." I tell him. A few minutes into some awkward conversation the wine hits me, hard. I begin to giggle lightly at the amazing feeling. The alcohol sings through my blood stream. "What?" Kaleb says starting to chuckle. "Nothing." I laugh. "It's just really pretty." My laughing is uncontrollable. "You look really beautiful." He tells me. "I should've said that when I saw you." He adds. "Thank you." I blush. "You look very beautiful too, I mean handsome." I laugh. He laughs with me. "Thank you." As he responds a band walks out onto the patio and starts to set up on a small stage. "Looks like we're going to get a show tonight." He tells me and I smile.

A waiter comes up to us and says, "Welcome to Blue's Roadhouse, I'll be your server tonight. What would you two like to drink for this evening?" "Um, what do you have on draft?" Kaleb asks. I forgot that he is over 21. Oh my God, he's 28. Holy shit, I am such a slut. I try to contain my laughter until the waiter leaves. "I'll just have a glass of Blue Moon and a side of oranges." Kaleb orders. "For you?" He looks at me. "Iced tea." I simply state. "No wine or margarita for the beautiful lady?" He offers. I think he's flirting with me. "Um, how about about a margarita on the rocks?" I ask. "Coming right up." He says and walks away. "He didn't ask for your I.D." Kaleb laughs. "I knew he wouldn't, so that's why I ordered." I smirk. "I actually kind of forgot how much older you are then me." I remind him. "I know that it may be new or a little uncomfortable for you..." I interrupt him and say, "No, I'm not uncomfortable. I just sometimes forget." I respond.
