The Familiar ringing of your phone alarm stirs you from your peace. you roll over drowsily, the sunlight streaming through your bedroom windows. Irritating your e/c eyes as you turn the irritating noise off.

"Y/N? You awake?" you hear your mom call from downstairs as you yawn and look towards the freshly ironed, sleek new uniform hanging on your doorknob.

Shit. you had completely forgotten what day it was! You quickly stand up and rush to the mirror " ah crap! Coming down soon mom!". You quickly run a brush to try and tame your h/c locks, as you do you take a moment to observe your own reflection, wondering if you'll actually fit in at this new place.

It's your senior year...and exactly 3 months since your dad left you and your mother.it hurt to think about, he was the perfect father up until when your mother had found another women's bra in her car. Even after the divorce, neither you or your mother could stand to live in the same town as him, much less the same neighborhood. So over summer you and your mother packed up everything and moved across the country to...Avonwood Fields. Ironic, considering the only "field" you had seen here so far was the worn down baseball field in the public park.

When you finally tamed your hair you held up your uniform in front of you. A white collared shirt with a red bow ribbon at the neck under a maroon blazer embroidered with the school's logo. Avonsworth Academy. Unlike the humble buildings, and generally low wages surrounding your new neighborhood, Avonsworth was practically the shining beacon of Avonwood Fields. It was apparently right on the divide between the "rich" side of Avonwood and the "poor" side of Avonwood.

So it was a gamble on whether the people at your new school would be chill...or if they'd be like the kids back at your old school. Spreading rumors about your father to the point where people were saying some sick shit...shit that made you break down in the middle of class.

You try to push that out of your head as you stare down at the final piece of the uniform, a plaid pleated skirt. It was a cute skirt...at least it would be on someone else. You sigh, remembering when you were actually confident about your body, when you weren't constantly wondering how gross people thought your legs were and how your stomach poked out.

You look around your room and spot a pair of grey baggy leggings, they would definitely clash with your uniform, but at least they covered up you legs. One thing less for people to judge you for.

Half and hour later you're seriously regretting your decision to wear leggings in 80 degree weather. Since when is it so fucking hot in SEPTEMBER?! You look around as you walk down the sidewalk, it seems the rest of this town is slowly waking up as well. But honestly, admiring the scenery isn't making your situation any better.

Because you're fucking lost.

You swear you've passed the same dumpster three times now and somehow you never seem any closer to Avonsworth. You look at your phone nervously 7:52 am, great in less then ten minutes you'll be late on your first day to school. You steady yourself and look around, hoping to see someone to ask for directions.

As your eyes scan over the gas station currently in front of you it seems the gas station is just as abandoned as the last six buildings you've passed.

You begin to lose hope until you see the sliding doors to the gas station open, and see him.

At first you couldn't tell if he was a avonsworth student or a college kid that just happened to be wearing the uniform. You quickly make your way over to him, you're saved! Out of breath you finally reach him just as he reaches his motorcycle.

Tired, you hunch over to catch your breath, however when you meet his eyes you see two icy blue orbs glaring through you as if you're a piece of roadkill.

You hadn't realized how...intimidating he was until you were seeing him up close. His icy eyes were the crowning jewel of his sculpted face, his jaw looked like it could cut diamonds, his pale lips the only "delicate" part of his face although his lip ring made even that look scary. His face was exposed with his raven hair pushed back, exposing even more of his hunter-like features as well as his chain ear cuff.

The towering man finally scoffed, looking annoyed "the fuck do you want?" in a curt, and deep tone. It took a second for his rude words to register with you, you wanted to snap back at his ass but you were the one blocking him from his bike. "I...uh jst need some directions! I'm lost, do you know where Avonsworth is by chance?" . His eyes flashed with annoyance as he replied "Oh? Your and Avonnsworth kid?". His eyes look you over again, scanning you up and down "jesus christ you freshman are getting fucking annoying".

With that comment you felt your blood beginning to boil, "Listen asshat im not a freshman, im a senior-" "and i don't give a fuck, move". As he stretched out his arm to push you away from his bike, you could see the flash of ink on his arm. How the fuck did a highschooler get a sleeve tattoo?

You try to steady yourself, only trip and land right on your ass. As you see the asshole mount his bike you feel a breeze on the back of your knee. Quickly you scramble to look and see that there is now a big-ass rip on the back of you leggings. Fucking perfect.

As you get up again you hear the motorcycle's engine starting and see him beggin to start it up. Seething you yell "you ripped my leggings douchebag!". The bastard doesn't even acknowledge you, turning out of his parking space and preparing to head back on the road.

There is no WAY you're letting this bastard get away with this, looking around you see on top of a trashcan...a slurpie cup.

Perfect.

You grab the cup and shake it, seems to still have some slush inside, as the asshole is just about to ride out of the parking lot you bring your arm back, and pitch the cup straight at the asshole's back.

It connects.

You smirk as you see the asshole jump in surprise, he finally looks back at you, only to give the middle finger as he rides off.

Well it was satisfying getting to show that douche some fucking karma, but now...

You look at your phone again, its now 7:58 am shit how are you going to get to class now?

Just as you ponder just going back home and telling your mom you were feeling sick you hear a car pull up beside you. Turning your head you hear a voice yell out-

"Hey! You look like you could use a ride!"
