Everything is perfect. Everything is as it should be. Your e/c eyes flutter open and all you see is Cassie's beautiful form sitting before you. She's smiling,her eyes filled with absolute adoration as she gazes into yours.

You try to stand but...you can't. Your legs refuse to move from your seat. Not that there is anywhere else to go, the surrounding area a foggy haze enveloping everything but the two of you. The both of you sit on the lunch bench you had frequented so many times before.

Then you remember.

"y/n...you're up! Perfect" Cassie smiles with a sickening sweetness at you. You look back at her wishing you hadn't awoken to this terror. "Cassie, what's happening?" you ask your voice trembling, however she simply answers in a soothingly sweet voice "everything is as it should be y/n. There's no one to come between us anymore!".

You feel your stomach drop as she giggles, such a light airy sound that sends ice to your very core. She turns to you and you see tear droplets forming in her eyes, you want to believe that she is finally realizing the reality of the situation, that the guilt may bring her back to her senses but you know better.

Those are tears of happiness.

She leans closer taking you face into her hands, as her eyes trail all over your face,body, and even delving deep into your very soul. "Oh y/n i worked so hard for this moment, i did so many things just to get the tiniest bit closer to you and...i almost lost you in the end! But now...I did it. I did it for us.".

You shiver at her words "Cassie...you did all of this? How...how could you?! I thought we were friends!you...you tore my fucking life apart!". A strange but dangerous look flashes over her eyes at your words,you try to hold back your tears however she simply sighs. "Because y/n i...." you shiver as she leans closer to you, a chillingly tender sweetness in her words.

"I am completely and hopelessly in love with you"

You shake your head, the words don't sound right at all. It's impossible, unless it's some sick mind game she's playing, however the deadly seriousness in her tone makes your blood run cold.

"N-no" you whimper refusing to believe it "you hate me...you fucking despise me! Why else would you do all of this?!". You stare at her praying that you're right, the thought that she hates you enough to do all this is somehow more comforting than the thought that somehow...this is her twisted form of affection towards you.

Cassie simply sighs however, holding you tighter to her even as you try to squirm away. "I used to hate you y/n...on that first day when you came into school, there was something so strange about you. Even i noticed the change in the atmosphere as you walked in, everyone knew you were something special, even i knew you were something special...and i hated you for it.".

Hearing those words terrified you as she continued " I guess I was simply jealous at first, however even after our first 'meeting'...i couldn't stop thinking about you y/n."

A sick chuckle escaped her as she squeezed you "it was terrifying and wonderful and as if everything else in my whole fucking life meant nothing! Cooper breaking my heart, my dad telling me i'm a fucking disapointment, everything else all faded away. As if it was all meaningless in the end! I knew that I just needed you y/n...All i wanted was you."

You shudder as you feel venom sink back into her voice "so imagine my shock when the stupid fucking bitch Wā̸̲̱ĺ̷͚̬t̴̡͖̿é̴͉͇̒r̸̮̀̔ was keeping you away from me.... I knew i had no choice but to erase him from the narrative".
