It was the first day you spend lunch completely by yourself, eating alone as the rest of the world seemed to pass you by. So did the rest of the day in fact, all just a blur as you floated from place to place. What good would it do to waste your energy on acknowledging it anyways?
What's the point? There's only one thing left waiting for you here. Only one thing to keep you attached, and everytime you pass the posters of the pep rally, you're reminded of that.
It's finally 7th period, mrs.Mclann looks sourly as some kids leave early excitedly, knowing the teacher can't do shit about it. However you feel your heart become just a bit lighter as the clocks ticks closer and closer to the end of the period. Finally, as the clock reaches 3:30 pm, you look at the door, more kids are leaving while others are calling there friends, probably also waiting for their friends to pick them up for the pep rally. You stare at the door, blurred faces of other students passing by as you look for him.
But...he's not there.
You suck in a breath to keep yourself from losing hope. But that damn clock keeps ticking forward, until you're the last kid in class, until the hall empties, and until it reaches 4:00pm. Mc.Mclann gives you a nasty stare as you pick up your bag, trying not to let the tears bubble over. You slowly walk into the empty halls, despite the afternoon sunlight shining through the windows they feel so much colder now.
Everything feels so much colder now.
You drag yourself through the halls, hearing the commotion on the field, far away on the other side of the campus. A cruel reminder of how alone you truly are now. Alone in this hell
It's funny, you always thought hell would be hot and fiery and violent. But no.
It's cold, empty and silent.
You feel a buzz in your pocket, and look down to pull out your phone. Immediately noticing the time, 4:06 the pep rally has definitely started by now. However it's the notification beneath the clock that sends your world spinning.
[Cooper] 1 Message
Your heart soars as you open the message and read the text, just one sentence. "Janitor's closet 1st floor" it was strange. Not just because it's a weird thing to send, but because, you remember something about that place. It...used to be important to you.
It IS important to you.
You don't know why but you feel your adrenaline drive you to sprint down the stairs running high on hope, elatedness and...the lingering of something something you can't quite remember. As if the whispers of a memory are pulling you forward. You don't feel the burning in your legs as you bound down the stairs, racing towards the other side of the hall. All the hope filling you up as you stop in front of the closet door.
Quickly your trembling hand flings the door open anņ̷̧̥̦̰̪̼͖̠͖̻̏͋̑̎͑͒́͘̚͜͠ͅņ̵̱̤̞̟̦̹̱̝̫̤͑̈́͆͌̃̏̊͑̊̎̑͊́̀́̂̈́̈́́̃͌̉͌̇̇͐̈̈̚ͅn̴̨̨̨̠͍̬̙̪͓̠͈̩͔̹͇̮̺̓̈́̉̈̌͛͂̌̃̆̎̈́̇̍̄̓͘̕͜͝ͅn̷̡̛̘͙̰͖̠̣͈͈̻̠̙̺͈̭͙̣͇̞̪͖̹̟̲͎̂̀̾̽͒̈́̾̍͌̀̋̄̍̊͑̀̒̉̈͝ͅͅǹ̸͚̜͉̭͋̈́̑͗͐̏̎͑̅͛͘͝n̷̡̢̧̨̠͕̞͉̹͙̜̬͙͙̭͎̪͕̪̝̙̟̜̫͔̳̿̍̓̐̍̌̋͛͒͑̔͊̍̓̀͘n̶͈̟̲̩͓̟͍̳͔͕̈́́̀̈́̈́͜ņ̸̨͍͖̱̘͈͍̭̳̃̉̓̃̿̌͗͋̇͘͝n̵̡̛͕̰̹̣̟̠̝̯̹̠̩̞̺̥̞̥̉͐̄͗̔̏̓ͅn̶̗͍͗̃̑̇̈̉̿̏̂͝ͅd̴͎̫͆̾̾̈̓̇̈̃̈͐̽̀̏̊̅̆͊̋͒͗͠ḑ̶̧̧̨̻͖̱̥͓̞̩̼͓͓͎̏͂̇͛̊̓́̊̓͂̓͊̀̚ͅd̷̡̲̽̇ͅd̸̬̞̙̀̆̊͑̅̂̈́̓͛͐͘͜d̵̗͔̖̖͎͑͗̉̂̑̇̎̅͂̽́̾̂͐͛̅̚͘͝͝͠͝͝ͅḑ̵̫͓̼̺͎̙͖̰̮̩̎̊̓͋͜d̶̛̰̣͍͈̟̿́̂́͗͂̃͆̕̕͠d̴̡̨͇̠̩̺̬͉̰̝̗̀̾̌̊̐̉̃̕͜d̵̢̲͙͇̮̞̭͓̼̮͙̖̙̭̗̹̪̞̗̠̠̤̥̞̱̥͈͛͐̋́̚͜͜d̷̡̡͖̻̯̪̯̟͎̪̲͈͕͎̝̭̗̞̿̈́̃͂̀̔̀̋̿́̽̂͊̈̊̈́͐̿̊͌͗̕͠͠͝͝ͅd̷̨̨̮̬̼͍̹̻̩̖̙́̓̕ḑ̶̞͉̺͇̮͚͍̯̜̆ͅd̷̨̡̧͈̯̬͓̼̲̙̥̙̱̠̭̜̟́́́͐̅̄̂̀̆̅͛̒̀͊͑͊̈͊̀̃͑̓̕͝ͅd̴̢͔̖̮͓̮̙͍̗̩͚̩̟͖̬̩͖̳͗͒͂͜͜d̶̡̛͙͇͍͎̙͍͔̟͕̪͙͍͇̖͖͕͖̳̯̜̽̀̅͆͛̍̃̊̃̈̿̔̀̇̅͂̄͛̏̔̕̚͝͝d̷̛̠̝̠̳̞̒̈́̐͌̾̾̋̈́̀́͌̀̿͂̓̃̓̐̚͝͠͠͝d̷̨͚͍͔͂͆̾̎̏̔͗͆͘ͅd̶̡̩̩̝͚̫̠́̃̉̀̿̒̉̅͗̒͗̚͝ḋ̷̡̘̘͖͖̰̜̣̘̮͍͎̦̲̤͈͉̦̐͐̑̽̏̓̇̉̏͗͆́̀̾͗̏͝ḑ̴̢̧̦̣̯͚̬̪̪͍͔̺̥̻̗̣̈́͛͑́̃̎͆͐̏͘͝͠ͅd̴͚͇͕͍̠̥̫̋̓̎͒̋͛́̓̓́̆̿̔̆̑̂̑̌̓̌̓̽̚̕͜ͅd̸̘̖͈̆̓͂̉͐͂̐́̑̐̎̽̈́̋̀̃͐̔̉̈́̚̚̚̚͝d̶̡̧̨̢͍̫̘̭̟̫̪̲̖͚̪̭̳̠̝̣͈̯̟̙̯̐̈̎̌̏̈̑̈́͂̓̀̎̏̃̿̿̊͗͋̃̐̆͘͜͠d̵̩̣̻̈̈̋̀̏̿̓̈́̊̀̾͆͌̆̍̀͐̈́̚̕͠d̸̘̉̎͑̒̂̏̒́̃́͑̎͆͐͋̈́̾̓̾͝͠͝͠͠͝
