Chapter two

Hanging one arm out of a sleek red convertible, a smiling boy with honey blonde hair and freckles dotting his face waves at you. You blush, he is really cute but it takes you a moment before your eyes drift down to his blazer. "Your'e an Avonsworth student?" you ask raising an eyebrow, a guy offering you a free ride at a gas station is shady as hell, no matter how cute he is.

The guy simply nods in response "im Cooper! I'm a senior at Avonsworth! So I know how hard it is to find the school on your first day. I could drive you there if you want!". You look him and his car up and down. You're unsure if this guy is secretly a serial killer or not, but eventually you just figure if he is a serial killer you could just tuck and roll out of the car like in an action movie. He smiles as you nod and toss your bookbag into the backseat, buckling up in the frontseat next to your new chauffeur.

As he pulls out of the gas station cooper looks at you "so are you new?" you nod, "yeah, I'm y/n actually i'm a senior like you". "Oh really?" you see an excited spark in the boy's eye "maybe we'll be in the same class! Do you know youre schedule yet? Are you in any clubs? You play any sports?". Cooper excitedly raddled off the questions with the energy of a hyper as fuck golden retriever.

Usually you would've been a bit put off by this amount of asking so soon, but honestly he was just too happy looking for you to say anything.

However it seemed cooper caught himself, "sorry" he chuckled "you seem cool, im sure you'll fit in just fine". Without even realizing it you sighed "not if they're motorcycle riding douchbags-oh sorry" you caught yourself and looked back at cooper, whose cheery expression didn't change.

"Oh so you've met Ethan?" Cooper chuckled as the heat on your face seemed to only spread.

"Oh? You know him?" Cooper's smile faltered for just a moment. "Yeah he's...well, let's just say everyone at school has heard something about Ethan Creed".

You look at Coopers face, trying to read his expression however it seemed he caught on to your staring quickly. "Dont worry, he gives everyone a hard time its why he's so well known, well...that and his family donates a fair share to the school each year". You rolled your eyes, how cliche, poor little rich boy doesn't like being guven everso he takes it out on others.

Still...the way those icy eyes seemed to peer right through you...if he wasn't such an asshole-NO! He may be handsome but-

"Y/n were here" cooper said as you finally realized the car had come to a stop. You turned to cooper who was still smiling "if you need a ride home y/n just text me - oh wait, I dont have your number do i?". You shook your head and a quick exchange of numbers later you felt a pat on the back as vooper waved you goodbye.

"Text me if you need a ride y/n!" You smiled and waved back at the cheery boy. Okay, maybe today didn't start so well, but hey you had a freind before school even started!

Now...you looked at the huge building in front of you. It was time to actually navigate this giant place.

You were walking through the giant, maze like halls as you pondered where the fuck your first period biology class was. You had realized once you walked into the front office that all students needed to check in by 8:00, and that classes didn't actually start until 8:30.

You couldn't tell whether it was a stroke of luck, or a big fuck you by the universe as you traversed the halls.

You were turning a corner when a sharp pain in your ankle made you fly forward and hit the ground for the second time that day. As you tried to process what was happening you heard the sound of laughter behind you as footsteps approached you.
