Chapter Eight: Stalked By A Killer

Chica, Freddy, Gregory and Roxy all left Fazer Blast after Freddy put up a sign saying that his attraction was temporarily closed. He was just a little ticked that Slashrock Chica had singlehandedly crashed Fazer Blast. Sure, the music wasn't too catchy and the bots were a bit basic, but the children enjoyed it, at least!

Roxy put a sympathetic hand on the bear's shoulder. She was all too familiar with his plight. After all the amount of times her Raceway had been closed down had left her at times questioning why she was still a member of the band. She was extremely grateful to Freddy, Chica and Leo for helping her through those moments.

"Cheer up, Freddy." Roxy said. "At least your attraction will be open in a few days after they clean up Leo's mess. It could be months before Roxy Raceway opens again..."

"I suppose you are correct, Roxy." Freddy replied. "I hope that Leo has something that will help us. I'm starting to feel drained again."

"I wanna know who's idea it was to put you on AAs, big guy, cuz this is getting ridiculous." Roxy said.

"I agree. I will ask Leo if he can get me off of reduced power." Freddy replied.

"I'll see what I can do." Leo said, getting everyone's attention. "Also, seriously Chica? I literally just got done repairing you!"

"I'm sorry, Leo..." Chica said sadly. "But I didn't have any choice. We had a run-in with Slashrock Chica, and she had a worse time of it than I did, and she still got up and left."

"Well... At least you're okay." Leo said. "And it's just the casing that's damaged, and even then just lightly. Nothing that can't be buffed out. Here, Gregory. Take this. This'll get you into my Workshop without the bot harassing you."

Leo handed Gregory a Leo's Workshop Unlimited Pass that the boy took happily. The male wolf also gave him a security badge upgrade as well. Now he could access level four areas.

"I have some presents for you guys as well. Hang on. Where's Monty?" Leo wondered.

"Over here!" Monty replied. "So, who's hungry?"

"PIZZA!" Chica squawked excitedly.

Monty gave Chica her pizza before handing Gregory his. The boy opened the box and saw a pepperoni pizza. He looked at the Glamrocks as Chica ate hers with a happy face very quickly.

"Well, what are waiting for, Champ?" Roxy asked. "Go ahead and dig in."

"This is all for me?" Gregory asked in shock.

"Damn right, Bigshot." Monty replied. "As long as yer in the Plex, you ain't gonna go hungry. Now, better eat it, 'fore Chica decides she wants it."

"Hey!" Chica protested with her beak full of pizza.

"Chica! It is bad manners to talk with your mouth full!" Freddy reprimanded.

That got a laugh out of the entire group before Gregory took a slice of his pizza and bit into it.

To him it was the most delicious thing he had ever eaten.

He began to scarf it down with gusto as his body demanded he eat the whole pizza. He ate at the same speed as Chica, which impressed Leo, and actually made him get the kid an orange Fizzy Faz to drink.

"Whoa, slow down Rockstar." He chuckled. "Chew your food. It ain't going anywhere."

Gregory nodded then took a sip from his drink. Leo went to Freddy and began another power transfer, which helped Freddy stay active, but left Leo with only 25%. He grabbed a nearby S.T.A.F.F. bot and then drained it with his gift from Foxy, which caught Freddy and Chica's attention.
