"I think you have some explaining to do." Leo said. "Talk, Vanessa. Now."

"I... I couldn't stop myself..." Vanessa said shakily. "I... I could see what I did to those children, but I couldn't stop myself... I was a passenger in my own body... Unable to do anything but pound on the door that he locked me behind... I never wanted this... He may have done the deed... But their blood is still on my hands..."

Leo kept a neutral expression as all the emotions that Vanessa was forced to bottle now burst forth as she began crying. The other Glamrocks gave each other unsure looks as Gregory found himself feeling sorry for the security guard.

"Okay." Leo said calmly. "Start from the beginning."

"I..." Vanessa began. "Before Fazbear Entertainment hired me to be the night guard, I was a beta tester. Have you heard of the Freddy Fazbear Virtual Experience?"

"I did." Gregory replied. "I heard it never left beta. Something about... An unfixable bug or something?"

"Put bluntly, yeah." Vanessa said. "I didn't know what it was, but I quickly realized that it wasn't a bug or an errant line of code. It was him... That damn rabbit suit with the purple vest and bowtie... That unmoving smile... I tried to destroy the game, and him along with it... But I realized too late that I had followed the steps he wanted me to take... He took over my body, and trapped my mind behind a door that would never open... I was forced to watch as he murdered those poor kids in my body..."

"That certainly sounds like William." Fredbear stated. "To think he would force his own great granddaughter to be a vessel for him to use..."

"Bastard..." Leo seethed. "Is there no line he won't cross to get what he wants!?"

"Evidently not." Fredbear replied, equally disgusted. "All the more reason to put an end to this 90 year long nightmare once and for all."

"We know where Afton's at." Gregory pointed out. "The sinkhole in Roxy Raceway. I remember there being a hole in the wall in that old pizzeria."

"Yes. The ventilation shaft that was supposed to put an end to this story." Fredbear stated. "But getting to him... Won't be easy."

"What's wrong, Golden Freddy, afraid of a ninety years old corpse?" Roxy asked.

"William doesn't scare me, Ms. Wolf." Fredbear replied. "It's what will be in our way that concerns me."

"The Blob." Vanessa added. "That's what... Me and the Slashrocks called it... It's a mass of wires, masks and some other animatronic parts... Let me help... It's the least I can do to atone for my crimes..."

"Are you sure, V?" Roxy asked. "You still look pretty shaken up."

"I'll be fine, Roxy... Eventually." Vanessa replied. "I had a lot of time to learn about him when he... Controlled me. He wants something called Remnant. It's a substance that's extracted from the corpse of... A child, or adult that can apparently grant someone eternal life. Glitchtrap wants it so his body can be restored and he can be free from being trapped in a robot body. That's why he wants Gregory so bad. He's literally one kill away from having enough to do just that."

"Yer sayin' he's tryin' ta come back ta life!?" Monty exclaimed.

"What!?" Chica squawked. "But if he does, then..."

"We're fucked." Leo finished.

"Why does no one watch their language!?" Freddy exclaimed.

"Freddy, for fuck sake! Get your priorities in order!" Leo barked at the bear. "If Afton gets the Remnant he needs and restores his body, he'll truly be unkillable! Then you won't have to worry about us swearing, or performing for that matter!"
