Gregory checked his Fazwatch as he and Monty left Monty Golf and saw that it was currently 4am. There was now only two hours left until the shutters lifted and he could leave the Pizzaplex and put this nightmare behind him. But he was starting to wonder if he really wanted to.
Over the course of four hours, he had been hunted by killer animatronics, a creepy Daycare Attendant, a crazy rabbit lady, and the disembodied spirit of a monster who refuses to die. But he also made really good friends with the Glamrocks. He started to think that if he left, would nothing change? Would there be more disappearances? Would he be safer away from the robots he was starting to view as a family if he left?
Gregory also realized that Vanny had been notably absent for a while, which made him nervous. Of course as soon as he thought that his vision started getting fuzzy for a while before it faded away. At least he knew that she was nearby. Unlike Leo and Roxy, Monty couldn't see Vanny, so he wouldn't be able to defend him from her. His one saving grace was that currently she didn't know where they were. That was another thing Gregory noticed.
The animatronics could be really fucking quiet when they wanted to be.
Eventually the pair split up, with Monty making his way to Leo's Workshop and Gregory heading to MAZErcise to meet up with Chica to discuss what she found. Currently, he was hiding from Elizabeth who was in the main Atrium, and was trying to get him to show himself by trying to coax him with ice cream, but if that didn't work the first time, it wouldn't work now. Eventually she stopped being nice and actually began tearing the Atrium apart trying to find him. Gregory decided then and there he'd rather not be on the receiving end of that massive pair of scissors on her right arm as he watched her effortlessly slice apart tables, carriers, and even the photo booths.
"Suuperstaaaaar..." He heard Freddy's voice call out.
"Learning his lesson in Monty Golf, Gregory decided to check to see who was actually calling him. As it turned out, unsurprisingly, it was Slasher. Unfortunately he was in Gregory's way currently and was searching for him. Slasher was the last Slashrock Gregory wanted to run into, yet here he was with his chest of hostility just waiting to deliver a grisly and brutal death to the kid.
"Come on out, Gregory... There's no need to be scared." Slasher said. "I'm here to help... I promise."
"Bullshit." Gregory muttered. "He just wants to kill me and take my body to that Afton jerk."
Slasher moved away from the entrance and searched for Gregory near Bonnie Bowl. Gregory could have sworn he saw Slasher smirk at the mural of Bonnie before entering the place. He was really glad he wasn't going in there.
Meanwhile, Monty was sitting inside the protective cylinder inside Leo's Workshop while a not at all happy Leo patched him up.
"How many times have I told you to not be so fucking reckless?" Leo ranted. "Way too damn many, I can tell you that! Your casing's been damaged, your endoskeleton has been damaged, and your jaw is now misaligned! Monty, if you keep this up, you're going to run out of spare parts. I'm good at fixing you guys, but I'm not that good."
"I'm tryin', Doc." Monty replied. "But you shoulda seen the other guy."
"Yeah, about him." Leo began. "What happened in there. That bucket literally shook the Pizzaplex."
"Gregory and I dropped that bucket down on 'im and he got crushed. Heh. Montgomery ain't half the bot he used to be, now."
"At least there's that." Leo replied. "Okay. There. Please don't get damaged immediately afterwards."
"No promises, Leo." Monty said.
Leo sighed.
"Well, at any rate. You should go hit the Recharge Station. Never know when you need a full battery." Leo said. "I'll be heading down to the loading docks to see what I can find in terms of food for Gregory when he gets back."
