"You let him escape..." Afton said bitterly. "You had him... You had a hold on him... And you let him slip out of your grasp!?"
Slasher cowered in front of the angry voice in his head as his systems began to act up and he screamed in absolute pain. He reported Gregory's escape and had tried to defend himself, but Afton wasn't having any of it.
"I've half a mind to decommission you, Slasher!" Afton growled.
"Please!" Slasher pleaded. "I didn't let him go, I swear to you! Something... Made me stop in my tracks! Made my systems go haywire! Was that you!?"
"Are you accusing me of allowing that brat to escape my own trap for him!?" Afton shouted.
"No! But who else can do what you can do!?" Slasher replied while still grimacing.
Afton stopped torturing Slasher and the Slashrock fell to the ground in a heap, breathing heavily as Afton realized that someone could do what he could do. One name came to mind.
"So... He's still haunting me..." He snarled. "Brian... Even in death, you continue to get in my way... I half suspected that he would have passed on when this place incinerated my body... Damn him..."
Slasher slowly stood up and looked at Afton's inactive body, waiting for something to happen. Eventually something did and Afton grabbed Slasher by the throat and lifted him up into the air.
"This is your last chance..." He said lowly. "Bring Gregory's mangled corpse back to me, or I will introduce you to the incinerators... Now get out of my sight..."
Afton dropped Slasher and the bear left in a hurry, now desperate to find Gregory and fulfill his creator's wish. Behind Afton, there was light snickering and Vanny emerged from the shadows. She had seen the whole meeting and was incredibly amused by it. She twirled her knife around and looked at Afton.
"Gregory has been so very hard to get lately." She said. "I fear that neither Slasher nor Roxanne will be able to get him."
"Perhaps..." Afton muttered. "This is your chance, Vanny... Are you ready..?"
"I am." Vanny replied without hesitation. "I won't fail you, Master."
"Hmm... We shall see..." Afton said to himself.
The Glamrocks and Gregory broke their long embrace and the Glamrocks gave each other excited looks. They couldn't wait to see Bonnie again. Especially Freddy, who was the most excited out of all of them. Leo still held the personality chip and had a big smile and tears of joy.
"By the way, Gregory." Freddy said. "I believe you will be needing some new clothes. The clothes we found you in are... In disrepair."
Gregory looked at himself as Roxy let go of him. He had completely forgotten that his clothes were ruined thanks to his tumble down into the sewers. His shirt had multiple tears and holes in it and his shorts weren't any better. Both were also caked in blood, oil, and grime. Even his shoes needed replacing as no amount of duct tape could save them.
"Yeah, I think so too." He said.
"One question, though." Roxy added. "WHY THE FUCK IS THERE A MASSIVE HOLE IN MY RACEWAY!?"
"I was actually wondering that myself." Leo said. "Let's talk about it after we get Gregory a fresh change of clothes as well as something to eat and maybe get some rest. I'm sure you're exhausted from running around for almost six hours straight."
"I'm fiii...." Gregory began before a yawn snuck up on him before he could stifle it. "Wait... Almost six hours?"
"Yeah." Leo replied. "It's currently 5:25am. That means there's only fifty minutes remaining until the front doors open up."
