Gregory explored the Lobby and passed by a couple gift shops trying to find somewhere to get an upgrade for his pass. The Entry Pass only let him enter the Pizzaplex, but unfortunately it didn't grant him entry to the main show area or the pizzeria as a whole. Freddy had suggested he upgrade his pass using an Upgrade Machine which could be found near Lost & Found below the Faz-Pad coffee shop in Customer Service.
The kid looked around him and saw S.T.A.F.F. bots everywhere. He was giving them a wide berth as to not get caught by one of the security bots. One such bot had already given him a really bad scare earlier, and he'd rather not die of a heart attack if he was being honest.
He went upstairs, doing his best to avoid the bots, but he saw something that caught his interest in the gift shop to his right. A box like the ones he found earlier. The box was under a sign that read "Free Mystery Gift!" Gregory had to admit, he was kinda excited to see what the gift would be. A sentiment shared by Freddy when he brought it up.
But of course, the shop was being patrolled by security bots making the rounds. They were honestly more annoying than threatening, but Gregory decided to avoid them as much as he could and hid in a trash bin when he couldn't avoid them. After avoiding the bots, he made it to the first floor shop and beelined for the box, winding it up and it opened moments later.
"Freddy, I got the free gift!" He said.
His smile faded when he saw what it was.
"Uh... It's a crappy Mr. Hippo fridge magnet? Lame." He grumbled.
[I am sorry, Gregory.] Freddy said sadly. [I am truly sorry.]
[Ugh... Mr. Hippo?] Leo chimed in. [He was part of the Mediocre Melodies band at a Sister Location in Hugo Oklahoma, I think. But they shut the place down last year, and Mr. Hippo and his band were scrapped. I thought they stopped making their merch, though. I guess not.]
"You knew him?" Gregory asked.
[Yeah, we met a long time ago.] Leo replied. [The thing about Mr. Hippo, he loved to hear himself talk. He would go on for hours and hours talking about his "stories" if you let him. I don't really miss him, to be honest.]
"Enough said." Gregory said. He took the magnet with some reluctance and put it in his pocket and made his way to Faz-Pad. Along the way, he heard heavy footsteps echo through the Lobby and realized he wasn't alone. He looked over the railing and saw Roxy looking around for him.
She had noticed that Gregory never made it to the entrance in time and was looking for him. He moved carefully, trying to avoid the female wolf as much as possible since he didn't know what she would do if she found him and entered Faz-Pad. But of course, he ran right into the security bot patrolling the coffee shop. It sounded an alarm which caught Roxy's attention and she headed towards the noise.
When she entered the shop, she looked around and didn't see anything, but she knew that the kid was around somewhere.
"Hey, kid. It's alright. I won't hurt you." She called out. "I'm here to help. I promise."
Gregory was still a bit apprehensive, but the animatronics hadn't tried to kill him yet. He poked his head out from under a nearby table and saw Roxy standing right in front of him. She knelt down to seem less threatening.
"There you are." She said. "Gregory, right?"
"Y-Yeah." He replied. "Wait, how do you-"
"Chica told me." Roxy replied. "I don't think I need to introduce myself, do I?"
Gregory could hear the smug tone in her voice, but he figured she was just putting on an act to make him feel safer. It was working for the most part.
"No you don't. You're Roxanne Wolf." He said.
