billie turned her head, and saw a pretty ass girl standing next to her.

she had dark red hair that was massively layered, and fluffy. her black eyes were slim and decorated with black eyeliner, she wore a bit of black eyeshadow on her undereye, and natural dark freckles were spotted on her cheeks and nose. she was the same height as drew, maybe a bit smaller and wore a tight black strapless cami, with numerous layered chains lying on her chest. she had low waisted black cargo pants on with a dark brown belt that had a large studded buckle. her hands were slim and matched her pale even skintone, and there was about 2 rings encased on each finger. billie looked back up to her face, noticing she had a septum and an eyebrow piercing, and her ears were covered in earrings. she looked back down, to notice that she had a detailed black snake tattoo that went down her waist and was half covered by her cargos.

'hi,' billie spoke, mesmerised by the girl that was right next to her. she drank some of the random drink she'd picked up earlier on, to her surprise it was actually quite nice.

the girl, whose name she was unaware of, laughed lightly at billie checking her out.

she felt a small urge to message drew and ask to be rescued because she wasnt prepared to talk to other people, but then she looked over to drew having a good time with her friends and decided against it.

which yes, drew having other friends made billie very jealous.

'i've never seen you around before,' the girl spoke, she had a lightly accented voice, billie guessed she had foreign heritage as well as american.
she took a pack of cigarettes out of her pocket, before placing one in between her lips and lighting it.
billie smelt tobacco smoke, and felt glad she wasn't smoking weed.
unlike drew.

'you haven't seen me around before because i don't go to college,' billie spoke after the short silence.

'oh, thats cool. do you work instead or something?' she asked genuinely, wanting to keep the conversation going.
'uh, yeah. something like that.' billie murmured.

'your voice,' the girl said suddenly. 'its got something familiar about it. im sure i know you from somewhere,' she said.
billie looked at her, before saying: 'a lot of people tell me that im familiar,' and then she laughed lightly with a smile.

'i cant put my finger on it, but i know you from somewhere, and i wont piss off until i find out.' she joked, making billie smile again.

there was a short silence, and the girl had her eyes fixtated on billies face.

'whats your insta?' she asked, changing the subject.

'um,' billie froze, she was bad at making excuses on the spot, she didnt want the girl to know who she was.

but just then, drew came back.

'oh.'
hi aria.' drew said, something in her tone was blank.

'drew, um, hey.' aria replied, sounding a little taken aback.

'you know aria?' she billie asked bluntly.

billie got the hint that drew did not like aria.

'not really- we were just talking and-' billie explained.

'cool, lets go in a bit yeah?' drew said, cutting off billie. billie felt as though it was more of a demand rather than a suggestion.

'sure.' billie replied, unsure of why drew's mood switched up so fast.

drew had walked off again, and billie knew that she'd have to wrap up her conversation with aria quickly.

'drew's your friend?' aria asked.

'mmhm,' billie hummed in response.

'thats cool.' aria said.

billie didnt know how to break the tension, so she just blurted out:

'can i give you my number?'

aria raised her eyebrows, smirking a little.
'sure.'

billie exchanged numbers with aria, promising to text her later, and then she left to find drew, leaving her half full glass on a table.

drew was waiting outside in silence, and pressed the elevator button and began waiting.

'whats up?' billie asked, confused.

'nothing.' drew was in a mood, but not directly with billie.

'was it something i did? because if-' billie began to say.

'no.' drew cut her off again.

'okaay then,' billie said with a sigh.
she didnt want drew to be in a bad mood all night, and she remembered their plan from earlier so brought it up.

'lets go to mine, we can stop off at a shop and get drinks. and snacks, then we can just.. i dont know, have fun?' she suggested.

billie knew that would make drew happy, and she was now out of her mood.
the elevator arrived, and they both stepped inside.

'the party was dead as fuck anyway.' drew said suddenly.

'i agree, dont drag me to one ever again.' billie said, half telling the truth.

in fact, it was a shitty night until she started talking to aria, she felt like if they had longer to talk they would've been good friends.

well, now billie had her number. and it was way easier to talk over text, so she was sure that she could get along with aria.

but not just because she wanted aria to be her friend.
