billie gets a message a few moments after seeing the post, and her heart sinks.

aria:
you're billie? billie eilish?

she leaves aria on read, as drew opens her own phone and sees the post.

drew immediately goes to the comment section, and she looks over at billie who's holding her phone with shaky hands.
'billie..' drew murmurs, her voice softened sympathetically unsure of what she could do to help.

billie then turned her phone off and sat in silence.
'hey,' drew said.

billie looked up at her, still in disbelief about what she'd just seen.

'why dont we go on a walk or something? it might help, we can think of what to do about all this while were there,' she suggested.
'lets go then,' billie said, standing up whilst nearly losing her balance.

drew simply laughed at billie for struggling to stand, but when she stood, her knees went weak and she fell straight back to the floor.

billie gave a light laugh, reaching her hand out to help drew.
they'd both left the building of apartments and had begun walking in the light rain.

'where're we even going?' billie asked drew, who just shrugged in reply.
'the forest would be cool.' drew suggested.

'i just cant.. whats even going on right now?' billie muttered.
'someone leaked your blonde hair and everyones being horrible about it i think.' drew replied, gathering the overall information for both her and billie.

'do i really look that shitty though?' billie mumbled.
'no bil, you really dont.' drew said, trying to reassure her.

they walked in silence for the next few minutes, and ended up walking into a forest path that was lit by streetlights. the rain was becoming heavier, but it wasn't cold so neither of them minded.

'i just don't know why chase would do that.' drew broke the silence.

'probably because he wants clout or some shit, i dont know.' billie replied in a low tone.

'i don't even care about people finding out about my hair to be honest, or the fact people knew what i was wearing.' billie confessed suddenly.
'what is it your sad about then?' drew asked.
billie sighed. she didnt want to tell drew.

drew left her question unanswered without pressing billie.

they just kept walking in silence, the rain pattering loudly around them.

the rain was so loud it almost blocked out billies sudden crying, but drew still heard it anyway.
'billie?' drew asked, stopping next to her.

billie stopped as well, looking at drew.
drew's heart fluttered lightly as billie looked at drew, her now bloodshot eyes had turned a bright sage green colour from her crying.

'please don't cry, its not as bad as you think.'
'its not about that, drew.'
'then what is it, billie?'

'its something stupid.' billie uttered.
it may sound selfish, but all she could think about was aria. she was perfect in every way — and now everything's ruined. she couldnt tell drew, because it could end up in an argument and that was the last thing billie needed.
drew took a small step closer to billie, and gently wrapped her arms around billies waist.

billie just stood there, looking at drew as she slowly got closer to billie, so that their bodies were touching.
and then, without hesitating, she kissed billie.

drew was about to pull away a second later, when billie started kissing her back, wrapping her arms under drew's and supporting her back.

it was a few seconds before drew finally pulled away, breathing softly.
billie just stared at her blankly, and took her hands off of drew with haste.
