this is just a small filler chapter, of billie and aria getting comfortable around eachother
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

billie had been standing on the same spot for what felt like hours, just sobbing.

it was starting to get colder, so she decided to make her way back to her apartment.

every word drew had said left a stinging feeling on billie, and as she walked she realised in misery that drew was right.

billie had been selfish and taken drew for granted, and was also aware of drew being a lesbian but was constantly messing with her head.

thats probably why she fell for me, billie realised.
all i was doing was leading her on, how was drew supposed to know any different?

she wanted so badly then and there to punch herself in the face for her stupidity and ignorance.

billie wanted badly to try and find drew, to text her, but she felt as though it should be left, for a little while at least.

they'd fought a load of times before, and drew always came round.

but billie still felt horrible, as she walked out of the forest path and onto the street.

there was a group of teenagers being loud, and laughing on the other side of the road, but billie dismissed them.

fuck, she felt miserable right now.
billie kept walking, telling herself how much of a bad person she is in her head.

'billie?' a familiar voice said from next to her.

it was aria.

'fucking hell, do you know how to approach someone? you scared the shit outta me.' billie said, looking at aria, her brows furrowed.

'im sorry-- wait, are you crying?' aria asked, her voice became concerned.

billie shook her head side to side, not being able to give aria a verbal answer from the fear that she was going to burst into tears.

'aw, billie. whats wrong?' she said, wrapping her arm around billie lovingly.

'drew.' billie muttered.

'drew rose?' aria asked.

'yeah.' billie said.

'you wanna talk..?' aria offered. 'i was planning on finding you anyway, cause there's something else i wanna talk about.'

billie gave a small sigh, and shrugged.

'i'm going to my apartment, why dont you stop off there so we can talk about whatever?' billie suggested, her voice filled with sadness.

right now, she felt like she needed someone to talk to.

it seemed to be fate that aria was there at the exact moment billie needed her.

'sure thing, you really sound like you need to talk.'
aria's tone was serious, and she tightened her arm around billie, before letting go.

the pair then walked the 5 minutes to billies apartment building, and they got in the elevator.

billie stared at her reflection in the elevators mirror.

her eyes were bloodshot and her eyeliner had dripped down both of her cheeks, her hair had gone slightly frizzy from drying in the cold.

'fuck, i look like ive just gone through a breakup.sorry that you're seeing me like this, it's not something i try to make a habit of.' billie commented aloud.

'nah, your all good, don't worry.' aria said in a comforting tone as they reached the top floor.

billie took her key out of her pocket and opened her door, letting aria in before herself.

'damn billie, your place is so nice.' aria commented, looking around in shock.

billie shrugged her shoulders with low effort as she took off her shoes and walked towards her bedroom.
aria followed, and gave a little gasp at seeing billies living room window, and seeing the glowing city.

'wait out here, i wont be two seconds.' billie told the girl - who was basically still a stranger.

billie went into her bedroom and saw that drew had left her bag in billies room, it made her feel like crying again.

but she pushed aside the feeling, and wiped her shitty, ruined makeup off, before undressing herself and putting on some old, black baggy tracksuit bottoms and a large gorillaz hoodie.

about five minutes later, billie returned into the living room where aria was aat on her couch, looking out her window.

her pitbull, shark followed behind her, his tail wagging from side to side as he walked alongside billie.

aria looked over to billie, a smile was on her face.
'ahh, your dog, he's adorable!' aria said, as shark sat by billies feet as she sat on the couch next to aria.
he wasn't even interested in meeeting aria, which surprised billie massively.

'don't you wanna go and say hi, shark?' the dark grey pitbull was settling himself down on the carpet, even though he'd been asleep all day he was still seemingly sleepy.

billie gave a sigh, and shrugged with a forced smile on her face whilst looking down at shark.

'he usually loves meeting new people, i dont know why he's being like this..'

aria laughed lightly in response and then the room went silent.
billie wanted to talk, but was unsure on where to start. thankfully aria spoke first.

'so billie, why're you so upset? what happened with you and drew?'
