as billie and drew walk out of the building and towards billies car, she looks back towards chase's apartment. all she could think of was aria, she was the prettiest person she'd thought she'd ever met in real life and to be honest, billie couldn't wait to text her tonight.
they both got in the car, and drew found a store 4 miles away so billie drove staying silent while drew was on her phone. billies mind kept drifting off to the way drew's face had dropped when she saw billie and aria. why? she couldnt work it out, so she pushed it aside. 'hey drew, whats the time?' billie asked randomly. 'half 10.' drew replied, not looking up from her phone. billie sensed drew was still thinking about the encounter, just as billie was. the situation had become confusing really fast for billie. she pulled in to the parking lot, and drew got out the car whilst billie followed after her. billie being billie, she ran to the store and straight to the takis section, drew ran after her laughing. 'okay, so we need every flavour and thats a must.' billie decided, running back to get a basket. she got her arm and swept it past all the chips, making them fall into the basket, some falling on the floor. drew picked them up and carried them in her arms. next, they made their way to the alchohol aisle, and picked up everything they could carry. after that, the pair went to pay. 'excuse me ma'am, ill need to see your id.' the cashier person said. 'oh shitt, hahaaa' billie laughed, her voice slurred. the cashier gave her an odd look, and looked at her and drew before shaking his head muttering something rude. 'uh, its in my car. hang on a minute.' billie said, running to her car. she had an old fake id that she'd gotten from an ex's friend, to smuggle her into clubs and stuff. billie dug around in the glove box, before finding it. she had blue hair in it, but she didnt look too different from then. a few seconds later, she'd returned with the fake id. the cashier checked it, and told her to lift her bangs up because her picture was too outdated and her face shape had changed a little. hesitantly, billie did it and he gave her approval to buy it all, it costed about $100 in total. drew was just staring at her in shock for the whole process, and as they walked back to the car she kept on going on about how billie had a fake id.
10 minutes later, they arrived back at the apartments billie lived in, and billie wonkily parked her car. 'im surprised we didnt get pulled over bils, you nearly crashed so many times man.' drew said, laughing.
they were still laughing about the whole situation, and took the elevator to billies apartment. once they got there, billie walked to the kitchen to set all of the drinks and takis out, drew helping.
'it feels a little lonely with just us two here, we'll pass out if we drink all this by ourselves.' billie pointed out, trying to infer that maybe she should invite some other people over. she specifically had claudia and finneas in mind.
drew looked at billie. 'let me guess, you want to invite aria round??' she asked, narrowing her eyes.
'no, what is it with you and aria, drew? i mean come on, we spoke for a few minutes and thats it.' billie said, becoming a little defensive.
'i just dont..' drew muttered.
'dont what?' billie pressed.
'i dont like her.' drew said, her tone was as if she was questioning her answer.
she then looked at billie, and billie knew she regretted what she'd said.
'what isnt there to like?' billie asked, her voice laced with slight anger.
'i dont know, okay? i just don't like her, i have no reason to, i just don't.' drew said, twisting her rings around her fingers. she knew why she didnt like aria, but she'd never tell billie.
'thats a stupid answer, you do realise that?' billie said finally, trying to end the conversation.
'yeah, i realise.' drew answered, with a final sigh.
trying to change things around, billie opened some cherry and watermelon flavoured drink that she didnt even remember picking up.
'wanna try this?' billie offered, making an effort to push what had just happened behind -- whatever it was.
'yeah, sure.' drew said, a small smile crept onto her face, she was relieved billie moved on.
billie poured two glasses of the light pink drink, and they both tried it at the same time.
it was a really overpowering taste, and drew pulled the funniest face billie had ever seen.
billie started screaming and laughing at drew, who was laughing at billie.
it was strange how fast drew switched up moods around billie lately, she'd noticed it more and more as the day went on but didnt say anything because there was simply nothing to say.
an hour later, they'd tried each of the drinks. there were about seven in total and they'd decided that the blue cherry one was the best tasting.
so now, they were just sat leaning against the big pane of glass in billies living room. 'the city's pretty to look at when it was dark,' drew murmured, gazing at billie who was sat staring straight forwards. billie nodded in agreement. they were both just sat in silence, trying to think of something else to talk about or do. but just as billie was about to say something, her phone pinged. an instagram notification, so she quickly checked it out. 'oh fuck..' her eyes widened as she saw the post.
