Geek To Grease

Chapter 7

               Sarah's pov:

I was in ponyboys house with Johnny sitting on the couch, while one of ponys brothers was helping me clean my cuts from the rumble his name is Darry. I think I heard Trinity say something about him before we left for the rumble something about him helping her try and find me.

"So Darry what are you to my friend here?" I said pointing to Trinity.

"We are dating don't tell her this but I actually have liked her ever since we first met a few years back." He says quietly to me.

"Oh really, I didn't know she has been here before." I say surprised.

"Yeah she lived here for a while and got into some trouble with drinking but I helped her through it all." He says proudly.

"Well thank you for helping her, without your help she would have probably been dead in a gutter somewhere." I said while getting up to talk to Trinity.

"No problem I have always felt the need to help her so when she left for Tennessee I was worried because I wouldn't be there to help her." He says.

"Well we helped her in Tennessee she didn't go as far as drinking her brains out but she got pretty high some nights while we were at football games." I say.

"Well I'm glad she's back and I can help her." He says smiling.

"Yea." I say walking away.

He probably thinks we can't take care of her as well as he did.

"Hey Trin you got quite a catch over there He told me about how he helped you all those years ago I'm proud of you for getting a good guy like him but why didn't you tell us you have been here before?" I ask.

"Because I wanted to get the thought of my parents out of my head they kicked me out and...." She trailed off because she started crying.

Trinity almost never cries.

"Hey its ok you don't have to tell me anymore if you don't want to." I say hugging her.

"OK thank you for understanding Sarah." She says letting go and walking over to Darry.

I walked back over to Johnny on the couch.

" Hey you wanna get outta here?" I ask.

"Yea let's go to the lot." He says.

"What's that?" I ask.

"It's a safe place I go to I sleep there sometimes when my parents are fighting they most likely would have beaten me already when I run out of my house to get there." He says as he puts his head down while walking out the door.

"Hey I'm sorry for asking." I say tilting his chin up.

"It's fine let's go." He says intertwining our fingers while we walk out of the Curtis house.

We get to the lot sit down under a tree and cuddle. I fall asleep while thinking about my family back home ,trinity,  and how I was worried about her.

          My pov:

I woke up from a deep sleep on a couch. "She's awake!" Someone says. "What happened where am I?" I ask. "Well your in the Curtis house and you have been asleep since last night after passing out at the rumble after I guess you found out you killed libby." Trinity says as she stands over me smiling. "Oh yeah I forgot Well I was happy I did It I never liked that son of a b.." Trinity cut me off. "No wordy durds please." She says. I sit up and I have a pain in my stomach I fall back down. " Hey are you ok?!?!" Trinity asks worried. "Yeah I should be I just have a pain in my stomach." I say. "Well rest up maybe it will get better soon." She says while sitting down beside me on the couch. I'm surprise nobody else said anything.
