Geek To Grease

Chapter 5

Sarah's pov:

I woke up on a floor and then I realized where I was. A church.  I groaned in pain because my head hurt so bad. Stupid hangover.  I looked on the ground beside me and found a note written in dirt

"Gone for awhile went to the store be back later, from Johnny and Ponyboy."

I sighed.

A few moments later I heard a knock on the door I didn't know who it was, so I looked out of the window. As I looked out, I saw Johnny and Pony standing there and Johnny had a box in his hands. I opened the door.

"Goodmorning Sarah." Johnny said.

"Good morning Johnny." I said.

I look in the box he was carrying.

"Peroxide, Gone with The Wind, bologna, cigarettes, and bread. Nice shopping skills guys." I said.

"Thanks but I thought you would be curious about the peroxide." Pony says.

"Well I am now whatcha doing with it?" I asked in a worried tone.

"We are doing to bleach Ponys hair and cut it I have some dye In my pocket for you and your gonna cut your hair and I'm just gonna cut mine." Johnny says.

"WHAT?! ARE YOU SERIOUS?! IVE BEEN WANTING TO DYE AND CUT MY HAIR FOR AWHILE NOW!!!!??!" I yelled happily.

"Yes I'm serious and that's great for you.  Ponyboy is being a baby about it." Johnny said.

"I am not.  I have pride in my hair that's all." Pony says.

"Oh well, you have to get it done anyway." I said.

He mumbled curse words under his breath.

We started going to work with our hair. I was at the lake while Pony and Johnny were sitting at the front of the church. I dyed my hair first, it was all dark and mysterious just the way I wanted, then I cut it shoulder length.

My eyebrows matched my hair now. I walked to the front of the church where I saw a blond Ponyboy and a shorter haired Johnny.

"Wow Johnny you look great and Pony look at your tuff hair." I said giggling.

"Yeah yeah I look lousey don't rub it in." He said.

"No it looks good I just have to get used to it." I said reassuringly.

"Oh well, thank you." He says.

We walked back to the church and sat down inside, we were so bored.

"Hey guys wanna play truth or dare?" Pony asked.

"Sure I'll play what about you Johnny?" I asked.

"OK I'll play." Johnny says.

"Sarah truth or dare?" Pony asked.

"Dare." I said confidently.

"OK I dare you to.......kiss Johnnycake." He says smirking.

Johnny starts blushing.

"OK." I said.

I kissed him and ran out of there to a fence that was near the church. I here Pony laughing all the way out here, he must be dying.

A few moments later I saw something coming towards me.

"Pony?" I asked.

"Yeah it's me. I'm sorry Sarah I knew that was awkward for you." He said.

"It's ok Pony don't tell Johnny this but I liked it alot." I said.

"Oooooh so you like Johnny I see." He says.

"Yeah maybe a little bit." I said blushing.

"Don't worry I won't tell him, but I think you should I think he likes you too. " Pony says.

"Really?!?!" I asked shocked.

"Really now do you want to go back in there and talk to him." He asked.

"Sure." I said.

We walked back to the church when I got inside I saw a blushing Johnny.

"Hey Johnny." I said awkwardly.

"Oh hey Sarah." He says blushing.

"Oh guys are you blind I can see that you two like eachother." Pony says.

"Wait do you actually like me." Johnny asked smiling.

"Yeah I've liked you since we first met." I said.

"Oh well me too, so do you want to be my girl?" He asked kind of quietly.

I was surprised but I said yes. We then fell asleep hugging eachother tight.
