Chapter 9

             My pov:

When we all got sat down on the van we were very emotional because we left so much behind. It was very quiet until olivia broke the silence.

"Hey remember our friend Summer that died?" Olivia says looking at her phone.

"Obviously she was our friend for years." I said still pretty emotional.

"Well they found her body in a ditch near the lake." She says still looking at her phone.

"That's nice they finally found it after a whole year." I said looking down.

Silence became of us again until I ruined it.

"Hey what do you think will happen to our relationships if we're gone like forever do you think they'll wait for us?" I asked.

"If they really love us they will wait for us to return." She says.

"Wow trying to say something meaningful here I see." I said smiling.

"Yeah it's perfect for this situation." She says.

We rode in another comfortable silence till we got back to the band room at like 2:00 am.

We got out of the van and headed into the bandroom. The only thing I could think about was how Libbys and Kassidys parents will react to them not coming home.

"Guys your parents will be here in the morning to pick you up so in the meantime get some rest anywhere on the floor in here." Mr. Baker says.

I sit on the floor near the lockers with a blanket I brought with me on the trip.

"Hey ya think you could come to my house tomorrow and we'll talk about all this?" I asked.

"I mean sure if my mom says yes here I'll ask her." Olivia says.

"Alrighy well Goodnight Olivia." I say yawning.

"Night." She says back.

Two hours later

It's 4 am and it's still dark outside so I decide to walk around in it no one could see me anyway. I step outside and I'm met with a gust of wind that pushes me back inside.

"Wow nevermind." I thought.

I sat back down and scrolled through my phone for awhile.

"Good morning, oh and my mom said I could come to your house." Olivia says.

"Good I needed someone to talk to about this." I say.

"Hey guys your parents should be here now so go wait outside, see you guys Monday." Mr. Baker says.

"Alright bye Mr.Baker." I said.

Olivia and I walk out with our stuff in hand and go to sit and wait for my mom to get here.

"There she is." I said walking towards my car.

"Abbie I'm glad your back hi Olivia." My mom says.

"Hey could I come to yalls house and stay the night." Olivia asked.

"Well what if your mom wants to see you.?" Mom asked.

"She already asked her mom and she said yes." I said.

"Alright get in the back." Mom says smiling.

We drove to my house and when we got there we saw something I wouldn't forget for years to come....
