I woke up to the sound of someone knocking on my room door, I sighed. I look at the window, which is wide open, the cold air seems to wake me up completely. Who opened it? I look towards the floor, the blankets that used to be there are now folded on the edge of my bed. William is standing in the doorway, he is wearing a long sleeve shirt with the sleeves folded. His jeans, which are a dark gray and seem to have a rip or two, are being held by a red and black belt that I have never seen before.

"Are you done checking me out?" He smiles.

I blush and roll my eyes. "Don't flatter yourself, William."

"Whatever, I know that you desperately want me." Jerk. "Anyways, Logan wants to know if you want breakfast?"

I nod and then I freeze, if Logan is cooking I am not even getting close to the kitchen. As if he could read my thoughts, William chuckles. "Don't worry, I made pancakes."

I smile. "Thanks," I stand up and stretch. "Now get out, I need to change."

"Oh but you look so hot like this," he fake whines.

"Shut up." I push him out of my room and he laughs.

I walk towards my window and look out, the grass is frosty, the cold December air makes the leafless trees sway. I look at the sky, the sun is nowhere to be seen, there are clouds everywhere, signaling that it's going to snow soon. I close the window and walk towards my closet, I pick out a gray hoodie and some black pants, it's kind of cold today. I take my clothes and change as quickly as I can. I go into the bathroom and brush my tangled hair, wanting it cut it all, but at the same time, I want to grow it out more.

I hear a knock at the door and William walks in with an annoyed look on his face.

"The pancakes were ready hours ago unless you want frozen pancakes, you better hurry." He glares at me until I walk towards the door.

"Stop exaggerating, I only took five minutes."

"Just hurry up." He walks out and I see him walk downstairs.

I finish up and go downstairs, my stomach growling in the process. I can see Logan sitting on the counter stools, at his right, Ashley is watching him and William eat. Obviously, she already ate. She turns around and I notice that she is wearing Logan's shirt and one of his shorts. Did she really spend the night here? She has never stayed, mostly because my parents always said no.

"Goodmorning," I mumble.

"Hey, we saved you some food." Logan smiles.

I give him a look that says 'thank you', and take a seat next to Ashley, the only open seat.

"I didn't know there were more people in the house," I mumble.

"Well, I'm here, so suck it up."

"Ashley, I wasn't being rude," I say slowly.

"Whatever." She stands up and walks away, her tone making me flinch.

How can she be so rude today when yesterday everything was fine between us. But again I don't expect us to be friends, I don't want us to, I don't like her actions.

"Logan, I need to tell you something," I said softly, catching William's attention.

"What is it?" He smiles.

"It's something I need to tell you in private. It's about your little girlfriend," I said quietly, making sure she couldn't hear me. I don't need her to start fighting with me.

"Uhm, okay." He stands up and we walk to the kitchen. "William, make sure she doesn't come in and listen?"

"Alright."
