I wake up, get dressed, eat breakfast, brush my teeth, do my hair, and finally, get to school on time. For the most part, my morning routine is the same every day. Today, however, I did not expect my little sister to be awake at the same time.

"Alice!" I yell, the noise of the hairdryer making it impossible for her to hear me. "I need to use the bathroom real quick!"

"Wait for your turn, Harm!" She turns the hairdryer off to yell back. "It's picture day!"

And with that, the hairdryer is back on.

After, about fifteen more minutes of her drying her hair, she runs out and makes her way to her room. I sigh in relief as I look at my phone, I have thirty minutes to get to school.

I walk into the bathroom and quickly brush my teeth and do my hair. A ponytail will do since I'm in a rush.

When I'm ready, I run downstairs and get my stuff. I check the time once again.

7:15.

"Bye, Mom!" I yell.

I run out the door and head towards school which is only twenty minutes away.

I honestly wish I had gotten up earlier and left with Logan, he had an early meeting today with his coach. He usually takes me to school, but today is one of the days when I walk and try to get there on time.

After speed walking all the way, I get to school with extra time.

"Harmony, guess what?"

I turn. Carol is standing there completely excited, I can tell that either she got asked out by her boyfriend, or there's some drama going on.

"What?" I look at her and wait for her to tell me.

"Follow me," she whispers.

"Okay?"

I walk right behind her, totally confused. We walk through crowds of people, and just as the warning bell rings, she stops at a corner.

"Wha—" She slaps her hand on my mouth.

Ouch.

"Listen," she whispers.

I nod and listen, not really sure what I should be listening to. I stand there, bored and worried about class. I then hear Victoria's voice.

"William."

"Victoria?"

"I have to tell you something."

"Okay."

"It's a secret that I am trusting you with."

"Okay. Go on."

"Listen, my friend has a crush on you."

What is she doing?

"Uh...Who?"

"That I won't and can't say," she pauses. "You have to figure that out on your own."

"What? Why don't you just tell me?"

"Well, where's the fun in that? And because that's not fair, she trusted me with her secret and I can't just tell you. I need you to keep an open mind."

"But you just told me about her, who is she?"

"You have to figure out who she is, you probably already know who she is."

"Uh..."

"But you can't tell anyone about this."

"What? Victoria, this is stupid"
