"I told you to stay away from her, didn't I? Ever since that day, I told you to back off, but you didn't." Scott pushes William against the wall. "You're starting to really piss me off, Will."

"Don't call me that," William pushes Scott away from him. "And you don't get to be mad, she's not the one cheating."

Cheating? Is Scott cheating on me? I don't get it, he asked me out, he's the one that has liked me. Why is he suddenly turning things around, I didn't look for him, I never even paid him any attention.

"It was one time," Scott yells. "You know I didn't mean to."

"Oh that's right, you were as drunk as you are now."

That seemed to set off Scott, he punched William, causing me to start freaking out. I try to stop them fighting, by pulling Scott away from him. I pull on his shirt, the most pathetic thing I can do. He turns around and pushes me, I stumble and fall. My head hits the flower pots that rest on the inside of the fence. I feel the pain impact my whole body. Logan decides to come out at this point, he walks toward the two of the guys and separates them, with the help of Greg. I see Ashley run out and she looks at me, for some reason I expect her to go back inside and leave me here. But as my vision starts to blur, she runs towards me and tries to help me up.

"She's unconscious!"

...

"You make me sick, you always have!"

I flinch as my mother throws the bottle of wine to the wall, almost hitting me in the process.

"I told you not to touch any of my stuff!" She yells and walks towards me.

She has been drinking all day, hasn't stopped. I had thrown away one of her bottles, but I was hoping she wouldn't find out. She had seen the empty bottle in the trash, for some reason, she remembered exactly how many bottles were left. She pushed me down onto the floor and yelled.

I looked at her eyes, tried to read them. There was nothing, only hate. Those weren't her eyes, those were the eyes of a monster. A monster that took over my own mother, a monster that would rather kill her than to give her back.

"You'll pay for that bottle!" She walked towards me.

I tried to stand up, I tried to crawl away from her, but she grabbed my arm. She leaned down next to me and looked straight into my eyes. The demon inside of her laughed at me, laughed at my fear.

"Hermione!"

I open my eyes, "Hermione!" Logan yells from far away.

"She's awake!" I look at the person next to me, Ashley is holding my hand, checking for my pulse. As I make eye contact with her, she let's go of my wrist.

"Are you okay?" She asks, not looking at me.

I nod and try to sit up, I look around, Scott and William were still struggling to get at each other. I wasn't out for long, just a couple seconds.

"Why haven't they stopped?" I ask Ashley as I stand up.

"I don't know!" She seems a bit nervous.

I look for something to help me stop them, and I find the hose. I walk to it and turn it on.

"Logan, Greg!" They look at me, chuckle and move away from the two idiotic boys.

I watch as William and Scott attempt to punch each other, and that's when I soak them.

"Dude, what the hell!" Scott yells, who starts acting rationally.

"What the—" William turns to look at me.
