"Harmony, are you ready?" Logan asked.
I looked up, and I nodded.
Since he can take me to school today, I got to sleep in a bit.
I get in the car and I sigh, today is going to be really bad.
"Why do your friends have to spend the night?" I ask.
"Well, we want to leave early in the morning," he states. "And mom is taking us."
"Why have mom take you if you can drive yourself?"
"Dad said that the car is going to the shop as soon as we get home today." He informed me.
Our little brother scratched the side real bad when he was riding his bike. Logan was so mad.
"Why do you care so much about my friends coming over?" He asked.
"Because... I plan on sleeping early today."
It's Friday! Why would I go to sleep early?
"You are one of the craziest people I know," he chuckles. "Really though, why?"
"Well, I'm not going to lie to you," I sigh. "I want to try and put some new product on my face, and I was thinking of using it on you! But I don't have enough for your friends."
He starts laughing, and I smile. If only I could tell him the real reason.
"You are so weird."
We arrived and got out of the car.
"Bye, Harm." He smiles.
"Bye." I start. "Don't forget—"
I didn't get to finish because some girls ran towards my brother and pushed me out of the way.
"We heard that you are going to be the team captain this year!" They swoon.
My brother is one of the best football players in the school. Since the previous captain graduated last year, Logan is now the best player in the team and he gets to take over.
Hello to you too, guys. Having a great day, thanks for asking.
I start walking towards the entrance when Logan's friends start walking towards me. They stare at me for a second, and then I walk away.
"Hermione," Scott calls.
"Yeah?"
"You have a bit of syrup on your nose..."
Ugh.
I clean my nose and keep walking.
I want to go home already.
Okay, so I have been preparing myself for tonight. I am going to lock myself up in my room. I am not going to eat dinner with everyone else. And last, but not least, I am going to sleep at seven.
Perfect.
I walk into my French class and sit down in the back.
I really don't feel like sitting in the front today.
My teacher notices how I'm not smiling and that I don't have my homework out, which pretty much explains me in the morning. She doesn't speak French when she notices that I'm not very happy.
"Everything alright, Hermione?"
I look up and nod.
There's nobody in the classroom at this time.
"Well, it doesn't seem like it. Do you want to talk about anything?" She asks.
"There's nothing wrong, thank you though. I'm just a little frightened for the test today," I said.
