f/n=friend name. sometimes will equal full name, most of the time, equals friend name. f/n is male in this story.

you quickly wake up and rush to your closet. you woke up early every single day. however, since school would be out, you really regretted being up early. you grab your backpack before rushing downstairs.

"is dad working again? you asked your mother, who simply nodded. you sigh, of course, you didn't expect anything else. you wondered if he even loved you or your sister. you were close to believing he didn't love either of you.

you get on the bus, looking out the window. if everything went well, you'd be back home in no time. you lived across from the denbrough household, you felt bad for them since losing their son, george, october of last year, you hoped they were doing okay.

george had been the first of many kids to go missing suddenly. your curfew was from your own mom, but there had been a curfew set. he was their youngest, you've seen their first son, william, or bill, people called him around, you had classes with him.

you arrive at school, clutching your backpack nervously. you hoped you could avoid the bowers gang today. they were creeps, giving you creepy looks or making moves on you. you didn't like being violent, but had the urge of punching them in the faces.

or kicking them in the balls.

like every single fucking day of your life, you walked by them, they were eyeing you suggestively, you usually would've let them, but since you were in no mood, you turn around, snapping, "if you shitheads keep looking at me weird or even flirt, i'm gonna kick you in the balls, or even worse, punch you."

they simply laughed, clearly not taking you seriously, but you were serious. you were capable of doing so. you roll your eyes, going in class. you didn't wanna be suspended when school was ending for the summer.

class went on, every single day was the same and boring. almost like a routine. you had one friend, hopefully you'd see her soon. "(y/n)! you heard a familiar voice. you smile, seeing (f/n) approach you.

he was your best friend since kindergarten, so you were inseparable. you didn't mind only having one friend, who needed more when you had (f/n)?  "geesh, i thought you were gone today, you chuckle.

(f/n) smirked."nope, can't get rid of me, (n/n)." you laughed, smiling. you felt like you could be yourself with him, he felt the same. he was more himself with you. once school ended, you quickly leave the building.

nearby, you see some boys dumping their school stuff in fhe garbage. you'd do the same but didn't want to embarrass yourself. plus, maybe you'd use your old stuff for the next school year. you recognized one of the boys.

bill denbrough.

you'd admit, he was cute. you did have a tiny crush on him for some time, but never really confessed on how you felt. "(y/n), you're gawking, (f/n) laughed. you look away nervously. "oh." "you like someone? (f/n) asked.

you shrug. "maybe, maybe not. do you?"(f/n) shook his head."i mean, every crush i've had rejected me so i realized... i might wait until highschool, you know?" you nodded. "you'll probably get a girlfriend then."

he smiles, then you see henry bowers, picking on them. you groan, rushing over. "seriously? henry you're such a dick. leave them alone." henry frowns, but smirks when he sees you. bill smiles. you smile back, before kicking henry in the balls before walking back.

he may leave you be now.

you didn't even hear the boy with the glasses call you hot. (f/n) laughed." thank fucking god. henry needed a kick in his dick." "he's an asshole, you frown. "he made fun of george denbrough going missing. now that's not cool."

(f/n) nodded."my mom is here, bye!" yours arrived as well. you look over, betty ripsom's mother was here. why would she be here? you wondered, her daughter was missing, you didn't think betty would be found in school.

you turn back over, minding your own business, hopping in your mom's car. you sighed, what a day. your mom asks, "how was school?" "could've been worse, you replied. she smiles, thinking you mean your day had gone well.

grace was giggling, her stuffed animal with her. you loved your sister. you were so happy when she was born. you were very close. you hope you would be close with her when you were older.  you've imagined your future many times.

your mom drives in the house. you go inside with your mother and sister. your mom hummed some song you didn't know, while you placed your bag down. you hoped this summer would be nice. maybe you'd go on vacation with your mom and grace.

somewhere warmer.

somewhere not derry.

you mentally planned on moving from derry when you were 18. you just disliked derry so much, even though you grew up there. your mom hopefully, would join you and move from derry. you wished she moved now. but since your dad still lived and worked here, you'd only move if he agreed.

your father.

of course, he was barely around, maybe even cheating on your mom, you didn't know for sure, but how come he was never home? you wondered if your mom suspected anything, even if she did, she'd probably say nothing. she worked, of course, but your dad made the most income.

so even if your mom did plan on leaving, you'd probably go in poverty. even though she made good money. you didn't like thinking of that. you plop down on your bed, closing your eyes, imagining your future.

you imagined many things. you were creative. you had a huge imagination, you did since you were very young. but you didn't know how you could express your creativity. you wished you knew how, writing maybe? but you didn't know.

"(y/n), we're going out for dinner, be ready soon! your mom announced. "okay mom! you yelled. you smiled, your day becoming better, a certain boy in your mind.
