hi! sorry for not updating! here you guys go. i've been kind of busy wifh school but dw, i will be more active eventually, when spring breaks comes plus summer. plus, i enjoy writing this book.
when morning arrived, you were pissed. but you hid your anger well in front of your sister and mom. you didnt want them being concerned. mostly your mom. your sister, grace, was naïve like most five-year olds in the world.
even in derry, which was hell pretty much, she was naïve and oblivious to everything. your mom made sure she didn't know. she was very young. so much so you knew she could go missing like every other kid in derry.
you sigh, hoping your worst nightmare would never come true. sometimes you dreamt of grace going missing, finding her dead. you'd never forgive yourself if she ever did die or go missing. "morning, mom, you smile. "morning, grace."
"morning, honey, your mom smiles back. grace grins. "hi sissy!" she resembled your mom, but your father in some ways, which sucked considering your dad sucked. (m/n) knew this, she knew you weren't oblivious unlike your sister.
you've witnessed some things in your life no kid shouldn't. you wished you didn't, but things happen. you don't blame your mom one bit. she loves you so much. "hey gracie, you chuckle, ruffling her hair while you sit down in your usual place.
you felt energized. really energized. so you were in a good mood. "(y/n), are you in a good mood today? (m/n) asked smiling.
you nodded. "kinda. anyways mom do you mind if i get ice cream by myself today? the weather's hot." grace said, "can i go with, mommy?"
(m/n) sighed. "no grace, you're too young to go by yourself but (y/n), you can. as long as your safe. i'll get you ice cream too, grace." she pouted, crossing her arms but nodded. she could be upset, but never really misbehaved.
you'd say grace was the perfect kid. your mother raised her well. you smile, going out of the house, hopping on your bike, you knew where the ice cream parlor was, since you've been there many times.
you quickly arrive, since this was safe enough, you could go places by yourself. plus, your mom trusted you. you go inside, order ice cream, before going outside. perfect weather for ice cream, of course.
why else would you ask for ice cream?
you smile, licking/biting your ice cream while you sit on the curb. you hoped you'd run into bill, richie, stan, and ben, they were nice. you see someone you recognize come over. "(y/n)? mike smiles.
"mike! hey! you smile, you were happy he approached you. "i'm not really surprised you're here, he chuckles. "ice cream is so good." you laughed. "mhm. you ordering ice cream?" mike grins, before nodding, going inside.
he might be your new friend.
you felt bad for mike. you knew the bowers gang were specifically bullying him for his race. hell, you think they despised him most of all. your blood was boiling just thinking of them. you see mike sit by you, you smile.
"i'm glad i saw you here, you grin. "me too, (y/n),mike smiles. you liked his smile. "i like your smile, mike, you say. he replies nervously, "thanks... i didn't think my smile was nice." "well, you should think so, because it is, you say.
you continue talking, turns out you had plenty in common with mike. "friends? you ask. he smiles once more, knowing you liked his smile. "friends."
eventually, you had to leave so your mom wouldn't be worried and he had to go back to his farm anyway. you thought him having a farm was pretty cool, you liked animals, no you loved them.
if there was anything you wanted to be when you grew up, you wanted to be a veterinarian. but you weren't quite sure yet.
all you really knew about your future was you were getting the hell out of derry as soon as possible. god, you could only dream, for now. when you arrive home, your mom smiles. "did you enjoy ice cream?"
you nodded. "well, i'm going out with grace, she really wanted ice cream, your mom said. you nod. "okay, see you mom." grace waved happily, you smile and wave. your dad didn't deserve this family. you'd be so much better without him in your life.
cruel, but the truth.
since you were bored now, you decided on wafting some tv. holding the remote, you turned on the tv. you changed channels until you found some interesting show which in your opinion, was rare nowadays.
every show was usually boring or for grown ups. fhe children's shows were for younger kids, not your age. you didn't realize how long you'd been watching but paused when you heard some noises.
your mom was back now? really quick.
you sigh, getting up. maybe they needed you to open the door or something. you hoped nobody broke in and this was simply your mom and younger sister.
when you got closer, you were pinned down quickly and in front of you was henry bowers. but he wasn't by himself unfortunately.
"what the fuck? you say as patrick, victor and belch come into view. "hiya, (y/n), patrick said, licking his lips. you turned away in disgust.
"what the hell do you want? you say coldly. henry is still on top of you smirking. he doesn't say anything. he didn't need to, his friends we're there.
henry says, "we want you. and that's why we're here. you're coming with us, (y/n)." "no fucking way, you reply, lifting your leg up and kicked him in his dick. you chuckle, while he groans and goes off of you.
your signature move at this point.
you begin running, but patrick grabs you, pulling back while you scream. "get off of me! you yell. he doesn't listen while he pulls you into his chest creepily. you never liked them. how did they even break in?
"like we said, you're coming with us, you're ours now, patrick smirks. you shook your head."No way in hell, you assholes." he whispers, "you don't have a choice."
