- Y/n's POV -

"Woah! We've reached Sumeru!" Paimon said excitedly. "We should look for the Dendro Archron while we're here before going to Fontaine." Aether said. "I'm sure the Dendro Archon Lesser Lord Kusanali is different from the god that took your sister. Plus, being the god of wisdom, maybe she'll know something about Lumine." I say which Aether eagerly nods at. "Let's look for directions. I've been to Sumeru before but I don't remember how to get to Sumeru city." I say as we continue to walk deeper into the forest. As we walk, Paimon spots a girl with green hair and glasses. We follow Paimon as she goes to ask for directions. "Excuse me miss, we're travelers and we just want to know of you know how to get to Sumeru City." Paimon asks. The girl looks at her for a second before completely ignoring her and walking away. "Well, that was rude." Paimon huffs. "Let's follow her then. Maybe she...didn't hear you?" I say hesitantly. "She definitely heard Paimon, but Paimon agrees we should go follow her."

We follow the woman into a cave, with an odd looking teapot. I smell a weird smell that makes me head hurt and spin, but that's it. As I think of what that teapot is or does, I see out of the corner of my eye Aether stumbling a little. "Hey Aether, are you-" Before I can finish my sentence, he faints. I catch him before he hits the ground. "C'mon Paimon. We're getting him help." I state emotionlessly. "Huh why- What happened?!" Paimon yells as I walk out of the cave. "I don't know but my head really hurts and he's passed out. I think it has something to do with the smell thing she was brewing." As we continue to walk towards a village I noticed in the distance, my head starts to hurt more.

"Are you alright? What happened?" A voice calls from the side. I look over through the pain to see a young man with tall ears and a tail, as well as a dendro vision. "W-We entered a cave asking for directions and we smelled a scent. It made him pass out." I say. "I can get a quick evaluation of him here before taking him to Gandharva Ville." That must be the village up ahead. I lay him down and stumble a bit while standing back up. "Steady yourself. Are you alright?" He asks concerned about me this time. "No I'm fine don't worry. Just get the evaluation of him so we can go." I say. He seems skeptical but let's it be. "Y/n are you sure you're ok? You look in pain and a little pale." Paimon says while feeling my head. "No I'm fine Paimon." I say again.

"He's fine, simply passed out. How about you, you don't look good at all." He said walking up to me. He feels my head like Paimon just did. "You're fine, I think the incense just made you dizzy. I'll give you some medicine when we get back." He says, picking up Aether afterwards. I follow the man as he recruits with a younger girl
who calls him master. I think she's training to do what he does. "Hello! I'm Collei and he's Tighnari." Finally someone told me names. "I'm Y/n. This is Paimon and the corpse Tighnari and dragging is Aether." "I'm not dragging him I'm literally carrying him on my back." He retorts.

We make it successfully to what he called Gandharva Ville. He explains to me the entire situation. How scholars use an incense to go into a deep meditation state called Spirit Boreal. I nod and he asks me to grab something for him. He described it well enough so I was able to get it. Before I started walking back, still looking at the shelf, my head started spinning. I leaned over the table right under the shelf and let my head hang. "Y/n are you-" Tighnari begins to ask before leaving Aether to access my situation. I think he heard the bottles clatter when I dropped onto the table. "Hey what's wrong?" He asks while gently
putting his hand in my back, but I don't respond because I can't really hear him. Everything fades to black while I stay leaning over the table.

My vision comes back and I see a huge tree. It's bright, white with pastel colors running all along the tree and bright white leaves. The sky was dark red. I look higher up the tree to see a small image start to appear on a small screen almost of vines. On it I see scholars I think and they're building a huge machine. It's so big that it's almost the size of the room it was in, and the room was huge. I then see what almost looks like a void with a figure in it. Wires are attached to its back and neck, but I can't tell who it is. Until he looks at me. "I'm finally stronger than you Y/n. You'll feel my power and regret ever being born. True divinity...is mine!" He said in a much too familiar voice.
