I feel little hands shaking me and I open my eyes to see Isak. I sit up and look around. "Are we in...ruins?" I ask. "Yes! These are ruins that belong to the Scarlet King!" Rahman originally waits for his group but leaves them to join us in investigating. I look around and see some kind of green glow again. "This has to be the Dendro Archon's power." I observe as I run my hand along the wall. "So there has to be an alliance between the Scarlet King and the Archon." I finish. We continue to walk further into the ruins and discover some runes. "Do your magic, Alhaithem." I tease and he sighs, going to decipher them.

After he finished, he read us the transcript. "First off, the transcript is from someone named Kasala, who was the last priest of the Scarlet King." He starts. I stop listening because I don't really care about history. All I really know or care about is the Scarlet King gave his people divine knowledge to make them go crazy in order to save them. Then Greater Lord Rukkhadevata use her power to give them life. "This came with a price though. The Scarlet King sacrificed himself in order for the knowledge to not be returned, while Rukkhadevata reverted into a child." Alhaithem finishes. "So...we had made enemies with our savior.." Rahman mumbles as he tries to process everything. "I'm sorry of everything. I promise to return all of the Village Keepers back and any resources me and my people have." He apologizes.

We leave the ruins and arrive at his stronghold. He brings us to the perpetrators names Morghi and Judar. The instant they saw me they started to panic. "Is the Akademiya here? Did the project fail?!" They start to ask me hundreds of questions. "Be quiet. I'm the one asking questions." I demand and they stop talking. "Confirm: is the Akademiya planning to create a new god." I ask and they nod, shocking the others. "Since Rukkhadevata's death, scientific breakthroughs have been rare and on the decline. After Il Dottore came to them with a notion of creating a new god, they accepted and began the plan. The plan consisted of the dream samsara and harvesting divine canned knowledge from the mad scholars." They explain. "They were also relying on the power of another source." Judar starts and then looks directly at me. "The Akademiya is getting more and more desperate to get you back into that machine. You need to be careful." They both warn me and I nod.

We leave it at that and go back to the village with the Village Keepers. Everyone starts to create a plan to rescue the true god and stop the Akademiya but this time I don't listen because I can't think. Now the Akademiya is using more of their people and aren't going to be kind with me if they see me. I can't go back there. I just can't. "Y/n are you alright?" Cyno asks. "No." I respond without even thinking. He looks at me with a raised eyebrow. "If I even walk into Sumeru City, I'll get hunted down. I can't have that happen again, Cyno. I'm scared.." I admit while looking down. Then he does something so never thought he would do; he hugged me. "Don't worry. I won't let anything bad happen and I'll do everything I can. I know that Aether and Alhaithem will do the same. So just calm down." He says while still hugging me. "Thanks.." I mumble and hug him back.

The next day Candance comes and finds us. "Everyone is waiting for you three." She tells us and we start to walk away. "Oh and by the way," She starts and we turn around to look at her. "Don't do anything too reckless." She whispers. "We'll try our best. Thank you for everything, Candace." I tell her and we walk into the village chief's house where we reunite with Alhaithem, Cyno and Dehya. I don't really pay that much attention to the plan because I'll just follow Aether. We all split up to make last minute preparations and I go with Aether. "Alhaithem'a
plan involves taking action on the next Jnagarbha day." He tells me because he knew I didn't pay attention.

We go to catch up with Alhaithem and he just finished speaking with Rahman. "Remember; you need to commit to the plan because serious circumstances are involved." He reminds us. "As a scholar, I could advise the mercenaries from
behind rather than having to fight at the front." He explains. "I also had not known of forbidden knowledge while working at the Akademiya so I suspect that the scholars and mercenaries who fell victim to its corruption, the Akademiya treated it as something else. And what is happening know has happened in the past." The theorizes.
