Returning to the house, we reunite with Dehya. "We should go meet my drinking friends back at Caravan Ribat, but I don't think Cyno should come." She says and Cyno raises his eyebrow. "I'm just worried you might intimidate them." Dehya explains and he lightens up. Cyno remains back with Candace as we go with Dehya back to Caravan Ribat.
As we travel back, Dehya starts to talk to us. "I hate the Wall is Samiel. It's original purpose of protecting the rainforest from sandstorms has been co-opted by the sages to also keep the Eremites out of Sumeru, as the sages simply take advantage of us. They refer to us desertfolk as little more than tools or livestock to be exploited and discarded, 'undeserving' of the Akasha's wisdom." She explains. Yeah well the sages aren't the best people around. At the local tavern is Caravan Ribat, Dehya meets with someone named Zaki. "Hey Zaki! Do me a favor and let Delevar know that I have a spice deal for him, would ya?" She says and he agrees. He takes us to an arranged spot but it happens to be an ambush with both Delevar and Engur appearing. "Dehya's not a good fighter. We'll win with ease." They boast. Too bad we beat them to a pulp before they could continue and we take them back to Aaru Village.
The next day, Candace integrates the radical for information. "Explain." She demands sternly. "The Eremite band had met with a masked man who had been claiming he was the Scarlet King's envoy, and he gave us the incense to lure the Village Keepers out. They would then meet at a junction where the man would take them to an unknown location." One of them explains. Uncle Anpu chimes in saying something that I don't really pay attention to. To ensure that they don't learn anything else, Cyno knocks them out. "I remember the first time you did that to me. Not fun." I mutter the last part. I swear her laughs at what I said but I didn't say anything because I would end up like the men on the floor. Uncle Anpu says that the man who took them away has to have been in relation with the Akademiya, which we all agree to. We ask if he wants to come with us to retrieve them but he denies, which i respect.
Aether Paimon and I prepare to leave before Paimon notices Alhaithem. She literally speed flies over to him and yells at him for not doing anything the entire time we've been here. "I had stayed in the village to continue my investigation and found out what the villagers have told you isn't completely true." He explains while shooing Paimon out of his face. "If a person has put themselves in the position of being too kind to the Village Keepers, they can become a target for the radicals." He says. Aether notices that a woman named Shani had lied to him so we took us back to her house. We knock on the door and she opens it until she sees it's us. She tries to close the door but I put my foot in behind it, stopping the door. Aether confronts her and she breaks, telling us the truth. "At nights I could hear screaming but I don't know what it was." She tells us. "Those were the village guards." Alhaithem confirms. "Is there anything located around the village?" I ask and she nods. "There's an abandoned Eleazar hospital nearby" She explains. We thank her before heading over to investigate.
We arrive to the hospital called Dar al-Shifa. There is monsters located outside of it so we fight them off and Alhaithem unlocks the entrance. We wait until nightfall and we hear the screams Shani was talking about. Alhaithem unlocks another secret entrance he found and we walk inside. I see some mechanisms which I recognize from training with Cyno. I go over to them and solve them rather quickly. We walk further into the hospital and discover a person inside who Alhaithem recognizes as Razak. "We might have been too late. Look, there is traces of a hasty withdrawal all over the sand and such." He says. "The Akadeymia's misinformation campaign made the radicals spring into action to unknowingly help in their plans while ensuring that no liability will be traced to them." He explains. "Let's just bring him back to the village. No time to dally." I say and we get to work.
