- Scaramouche's POV -

"Woahhh! We're finally in Sumeru!" Paimon exclaims. "We should look for the Dendro Archon  before leaving to Fontaine." Aether says. "I'm sure the Dendro Archon is different from the god that took your sister. Plus, being the god of wisdom, she has to know something." I suggest. Paimon notices a woman walk past and suggests we ask her for directions. "No it's fine we can ask someone at Gandharva Ville. Follow me." Aether says emotionlessly before starting to walk towards the upcoming village. Alright then...

Arriving at the village, a young girl with green hair jumps at the sight of us. "Hello! I'm Forest Ranger trainee Collei! How can I help you?" She asks cheerfully. "Do you know where a man named Tighnari is?" Aether asks and she nods. "I'll go get him right away!" She says before running away to get the before mentioned 'Tighnari'. After a few minutes she comes back with a man who has tall ears and a tail. "Nice to meet you three. I'm Tighnari and I heard you asked for me?" He says and Aether nods. "My name is Aether and this is Paimon and Scaramouche. We need directions to the city please." He looks surprised to hear his name and he nods. "The city is that way. Before you leave, one of my close friends named Cyno has a letter for you. Here." He hands Aether a closed envelope.

- Aether's POV -

"Thank you. We'll get going right away." I say and  starting walk away. On the envelope it says 'confidential' so Scaramouche doesn't bother trying to read it.

Dear Traveler,

I hope you're aware of a strange situation that's happened not only in Sumeru. I believe that we have been transported into the past because everything has gone back to how it was before you came. I'm writing this letter and having Tighnari give it to you because Gandharva Ville is right near the entrance to Sumeru. Although, something odd has happened and it's not only the past and present situation.

As I was walking around, I went to talk to Alhaithem and he told me that he has no idea who you are, which doesn't surprise me because you haven't come meet him yet, but he also doesn't know how Y/n is. I found this strange because Alhaithem has known Y/n for a year before you were even in the equation. I asked the others, including Nilou, Dehya, Dunyarzard, Tighnari and Collei but they all don't remember either of you. Asking Alhaithem who he does remember, he told me that the person he met a year ago was a young man named Scaramouche and not Y/n.

Once you receive this letter, please come and meet me at the Akademiya. I will be awaiting you in the House of Daena. Please come as quick as possible, I am starting to become concerned with this situation.

Thank Barbatos he still remembers everything. "When we get to Sumeru we need to head to the Akademiya. Someone is waiting for us." I say and they nod. With all this new information, we set off to the Akademiya, an already new start to the second time in Sumeru.

We eventually reach the city and we're given Akasha Terminals. The man explains what it is but I don't listen because I already know. As soon as he lets us go, I basically run to the Akademiya, the other two following me quickly. I open the Akademiya doors and scholars ask why I'm here but I say Cyno asked for me and they left me alone. Walking into the House of Daena, I jump down from the bridge and walk around the many tables, looking for a certain head of white hair. Eventually I see his hat and I rush over to him, tapping his shouder, catching his attention. "Oh, we were going to see Cyno?" Scaramouche asks. Cyno looks visibly confused but I nod. "Yeah he's the one that sent me the letter. Pleas excuse us really quick he has to tell me something urgent." I say. "Alright. We'll be right here." He says and I drag Cyno somewhere else.

"Alright what is going on." He asks while crossing his arms. "Basically, Scaramouche completely changed the past and he switched his life with Y/n. So the Y/n you knew is now Scaramouche. Although, he's never you know...completely erased a whole world's memories before so he there were flaws, what's why you still remember Y/n." I explain and he nods slowly. "So we have to find a way to bring them back to how they were?" He asks and I nod. "We should go to Kusanali. I'm sure she can help us." He says. "I agree. Let's go and tell the other two."
