Nayeon's POV
I didn't know that I'll be nervous like Suzy too. Every second feels like growing thousand of butterflies in my stomache, maybe it's because this is my first time singing in the public. Well, Jinyoung was the first to hear me sing besides my parents.
I'm singing several times, make sure I won't make any mistake. Walking back and forth, hope my nervous will be vanished.
"Hey." I turned around and found Jinyoung stands there.
"Hi." I answered awkwardly. His presence makes me even more nervous.
"Don't worry, It's not like I'll bite you or something. I got something for you." He said. He showed me his hand and open it. There are lollipops.
"This will help you with your nervous. Bite it." He said. I took it and bite it like he said to me. The lollipop is very hard! So I kept biting it.
"Still nervous?" He asked. I was too fun with biting the lollipop until forgot about his presence.
"It really works, thanks! But, Jinyoung-a. You don't look like you are nervous." I said.
"Who says?! My heart beats like it would explode!" He said fast. He opened the lollipop and bite it. The lollipop cracked. Whoa, he is really nervous!
"Anyway, can I take one more?" I said. Jinyoung raised his eyebrow.
"For who?"
"Why?"
"Just for who?"
"For Suzy." I said. He seems to be relieved. He handed me the other lollipop.
"Thanks." I said. And here's come again. Awkward. After a while, Jinyoung break the ice.
"A-Anyway don't worry, you have good voice. And the performance will be on 5 minutes. Get ready. So, I-I need to go." He said flustered then leave. He's kinda cute though.
I was walking all the way, looking for Suzy. She's there standing near the river alone. The view is very beautiful! The moonlight shined beautifully. But most of all, Suzy's beatiful voice make everything perfect, made me clap my hand by its own.
"What are you doing here?!" She asked.
"Well, I want to give you this." I said then handed the lollipop.
"What for?"
"Well, to vanish your nervousness because it's your first time right?" I said.
"Don't act like you are pro at singing." She said then look away.
"No, it's my first time too singing infront public. So, I feel you. That's why I'm giving you this." I said then handing her the lollipop once again. But she ignored me.
"You sure you don't want it? Then I'll throw it." I said then pretend to throw it.
"N-no, don't! I'll take it! It'll be such a waste you know." She said then take it.
"How does it work?" She asked.
"Bite it." I said. Her eyebrow raised for a while, then she bited it.
"See! It works right?" I said. But she turned around.
"Thanks." She said in low voice.
"Don't thank me, it's from Jinyoung."
Now, she faced me. Her eyes have millions of question.
"Nayeon, are you dating with Jinyoung?" She asked hestitately. Did she like Jinyoung?
"No, we're not. He doesn't own my heart." I said. Omg. What did I say? That was too cheesy.
"Can I ask you something again?" She asked in soft tone. I nod with smile on my face. Will she be talking about her love? Hohoho
Her gaze turned strong and serious, make me nervous. I bite my lollipop hard.
"Why are you being nice to me? Bambam and Jinyoung too." She asked. I don't know why but it's extremely funny because I didn't expect her to questioned me like that. I burst into big laugh.
"What's so funny! Are you guys using me? Never mind." She said.
"No, wait. It was because you are saying something nonesense. The reason is no reason. We are just friends!" I said while wiping my tears from laughing.
"No-no. I mean we are best friend." I continued.
Suzy's POV
Bestfriend
It's been a while since someone said bestfriend to me. Yeah, ever since that scene. So now, I got bestfriends again? It fluttered yet felt bitter to me.
