Chapter 9
As Bambam feels something wrong with his heart, he decides to go to the infirmary room.
Bambam POV
“So, do I have any disease like.. heart attack? Or cancer?! Why does my chest keep hurting?”
“Noo, there’s nothing wrong with you or your chest.”
“It must be mistake. It beats really fast when I’m doing nothing!”
“I said nothing wrong, Bambam. Um.. Maybe you like someone? It may be the reason. Because if you’re with someone you like, your heart will beat continuesly.” Says the nurse aka Ms. Yoori.
“But I don’t like her. I like someone else! Its a nonsense!”
I decide to go out the infirmary room.
Like someone, huh? Yes I like Suzy but..no, no, no. I don’t like Nayeon! She’s strange and weird girl. Suzy is way prettier than her, even though she has a boyfriend…. But Nayeon’s smile is fine. NOOO, IT’S NOT FINE! What’s wrong with me?
“Um.. Hi!” greets Suzy. I wonder where does she come from.
“Hey.”
“Bambam, are you sick?”
“No, I just need to rest for a while. But, you’re waiting for me, earlier? You want to see me, right? I know I’m fab. But remember, you have a boyfriend.” I say with my fab style extra wink.
My attention turns into Nayeon walks alone in the hall near the infirmary.
“Bambam, there’s something I want to tell you.”
“Yeah, just tell me.” I say while I’m looking at Nayeon. I see she receives a call and looks excited, then she run excitedly. Wait.. there’s water spill near to her. It’s too dangerous. She’ll slip!
“Actually, I don’t have boyf..”
“NAYEON! WATCH OUT! THERE’S WATER SPILL!” I shout which make her stop running and avoid the water spill. She smiles at me with confuse as what happen earlier, but she doesn’t mind it because something more important happen.
“Ooh~ Thanks, Bambam for the warn~” then she runs.
As she takes her runs safely, I’m little bit relieved. Then I turn my head to Suzy.
“Ohh, sorry Suzy. I didn’t hear you earlier. You don’t have what?”
“Never mind.”
“Tell mee!”
“I SAID NEVER MIND!” she left.
What’s wrong with her? Well, she’s pretty cold and scary when she’s angry, yet still beautiful. I walk in the hall alone and find Jinyoung who’s walking to my direction. That bastard.
“PARK JINYOUNGG!” I run to him. I punch him once I come to him as hard as I can.
“WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU?”
He punches me back.
“I’M THE ONE WHO SHOULD ASK YOU THAT! What? You date a girl? WHY YOU NEED TO DISSAPOINT NAYEON?” I punch him again. He really needs to wake up. He pushes me to the wall and holds onto me.
“What the heck? Dating? What are you talking about! You’re the one who’s having a problem! Why are you always hanging around with Nayeon while you know I like her? Just, wake up!”
“I saw it clearly with Nayeon on Library’s window! You hug and kiss other girl while Nayeon? You’re the one who should wake up! “
“That one.. You didn’t know? She’s my sister who went to German yesterday. It’s farewell. And why you’re angry and care about her? Don’t you like Suzy?!”
I’m speechless. Somehow, I get a little bit annoyed. My lips shaking. What’s wrong with me? I can see he knows I’m confused. Then he releases me from his hold.
“Where’s Nayeon?”
“She’s heading to class. ”
Jinyoung POV
Bambam looks speechless. I got angry because he interupt my life whenever he wants! I mean her life. How could he… Aish! Now, I need to get my mind straight.
As in the front door of our class, I catch my breath while looking for her. Phew, she’s there. I walk to her and finding Nayeon’s annoyed face.
“Lizzy, I need to borrow Nayeon.” Lizzy smiles at me which means she allows me to. But then Nayeon stares her with a death stare. I grab Nayeon hand to the field, she’s trying to go away but she can’t. Luckily there’s no one in the field.
“We need to talk.”
“Talk?About what? I don’t think we need to talk about anything.”
“You don't need to pretend. ”
“I think I need to go.” She walks away. I hold her hand. She wants to smack my hand away but i hold it hard so it won't let go.
“Don’t go. I haven’t told you anything. She’s my sister. She’s not my girlfriend. And she’s going to German and…”
“Why are you telling me this? Do I need to know?”
“Yes! Because I like you.”
Wow. I just confessed.
Nayeon POV
Did he just confess? I’m totally shock! Wait, who’s there. There’s someone eavesdropping, behind the pillar. I see black shoes with yellow lashes that can’t be hide. I recognized it. It’s Bambam’s shoes. My heart starts to struggle for a while. Why? I don’t know either. He peeks for a sec and our eyes meet. My eyes get bigger when Jinyoung grab me into his hug. He hugs me very tight. But my eyes still looking at Bambam. He left. Then, I push Jinyoung away slowly.
“Um..sorry. Can you give some time?”
“Sigh. Okay. I’ll wait for your answer. Remember, I’m waiting!” I nod.
My legs run by themselve to Bambam’s direction. But I can’t find him anywhere. Somehow I feel sad. Wait. WHY AM I LOOKING FOR BAMBAM? AND WHY DIDN’T I ACCEPTED JINYOUNG’S FEELING? I LIKE JINYOUNG! But, when I see Bambam’s eyes, my chest hurts a lot like.. Like I did something.. bad.
