Side Note: Using Uk school years. If you've got no clue how they work than I've uploaded a chapter in my latest oneshot book labelled "Uk School Years" that explain it all. Please use that to help understand the school years I'll be using. Thank you

Patrol started slow, rather easy in their line of work. None of them daring to call it overly easy since they weren't willing to jinx anything. Sometimes slow nights were nice, allowed some to return home early for once or go without a new bruise or injury to hide in their day life.

But one criminal or villain or whatever the idiot wanted to go as in the eyes of civilians and heroes, didn't have the same memo. He caused trouble, tried using an nursing home for hostages. Both Spider-Chick and Dare Devil were one of the few still out at the time and teamed up to deal with the idiot.

The idiot was some science teacher who was fired due to sexual harassments claims who also lost his chance in some scientist team up work for something of whatever. Neither heroes were listening much during his monologue that was way too long for any good villains monologue. But due to claims, he lost his job and a chance to be on a team that'd change some science history. Claims that weren't true, apparently, according to the guy but Spider-Chick would look into the claim tomorrow.

Everyone deserved justice, even criminals.

If the guy was wrongly accused, he decided to be proven innocent and if chosen, sue those who wronged him fairly.

Most bad guys once stood as good guys who were wronged unfairly or had lost so much that the good could no longer shine over the bad.

They dealt with the guy swiftly, mostly as soon as his monologue was finally finished. Almost every elderly person inside the home had fallen asleep and didn't even realise they were hostages. But Spider-Chick and Dare Devil dealt with him and saved the night, as always.

Only problem was that a gas was released in the room as they took down the idiot. Neither bothered to knock him out, just tackled him and Spider-Chick used her webs to tie him up.

Turned out the gas wasn't deadly or toxic, just something the idiot had made up that left people feeling unwell for a couple of days. In truth, it gave people morning sickness. Dare Devil didn't understand a single word used in the explanation and Spider-Chick dumbed it down to the main reaction of the gas.

"God, I haven't felt this queasy since that time of my life. I feel like I'm that all over again" Spider-Chick groaned back as she pressed a gloved hand against the wall, leaning against it while hanging her head low and feeling as if she was going to puke.

"Stop! Don't you dare drop that bomb on me .. again, while we're wearing suits. This type of conversation should never be done during our double lives. I still have a scar from that bomb" Dare Devil yelled back, shaking his head denial as he unconsciously rubbed at his back with a scar was left when he learnt she was pregnant the last time. Hero time isn't the time to blurt our someone is expecting type of news. Keith was frozen from shocked so long that he forgot about the criminals he just took down and that they had called back up leaving him open to a bullet hitting him in the back. He was still more stunned from the baby bomb dropped on him than being shot and now he had a scar on his back reminding him he was an uncle.

"I'm not. I haven't taken anyone to bed with me since the time it left me a freebie afterwards" Spider-Chick snapped back, not needing him to freak out on her all over again like he did the last time. Getting sick of the badly used codes they were following to not give away any hints towards her pregnancy due to secret identities. She felt bad for calling her beloved son as a freebie but he was pretty much given to her for free after sharing a bed with a man she thought she'd marry.
