Till Forever Falls Apart (Fred Weasley x Reader)

Chapter Eight

Y/N'S POV

"You look gorgeous!" Angelina exclaimed, she was helping me get ready for my date with Cedric. She curled my hair but I brushed them through a bit so they look like beachy waves. I put on mascara, blush, and some lip gloss. 

"Are you sure Angelina? Like what if he expected more?" I asked, falling back onto my bed and staring at the ceiling. "Y/N, you are breathtaking! Cedric will absolutely not be able to keep his eyes off of you.  And his hands!" She exclaimed, laughing at the joke she made. 

I looked at her and rolled my eyes. I was wearing some light blue jeans, a black crop top and a white button-up to go over top of it so I won't get cold.  "What do I even talk about? What if he tries to make a move? Angelina, what if he tries to kiss me?!" I yelled. 

Angelina couldn't help but laugh, "Y/N, you will be just fine. Just be yourself, smile a lot, and even if he makes stupid jokes just laugh at them." 

Who knew that the first date is so stressful? 

"Look at the time, Cedric is picking you up from outside the common room in five minutes. We should head down." She said, she took my hand and forced me up from my bed. "I'm scared, Angelina!" I exclaimed.  "Don't be Y/N, almost every boy wishes he was in Cedric's position, and do you know how many girls wish they were you?" She asked. I rolled my eyes, why is this so scary? 

We walked down the stairs from the girls' dormitories. Fred, George, and Lee were all sitting on the couches. They were trying to come up with products for Fred and George's business, Weasley's Wizard Wheezes. I came up with the name. 

"Woah Y/N! Looking good bestie!" Lee called out. I laughed, Lee is the friend that always compliments you and also the very funny one. "Are you going for your date with Cedric?" George asked, looking at Fred. I looked at Fred and his eyes were glued to me, his mouth was wide open. I swear that his eyes lit up when he saw me and he was getting a little bit red. 

I nodded my head. "She's terrified! I have no clue why." Angelina said. "Y/N, you look wonderful!" Fred exclaimed. I tried not to blush at his comment but it was hard not to. George and Lee both looked at Fred with a smirk on their faces. 

"Cedric is going to be picking me up soon from the common room," I said, looking towards the door. I told him the password so he can come in when he is picking me up. As he was perfectly on time, Cedric walked into the common room. He was wearing blue jeans and a black sweater with a chain around his neck. 

He looked so attractive. Fred looked at him and immediately started glaring at him. Something about Cedric apparently I guess made Fred mad.  I want to know why. Cedric is a really nice, sweet guy. 

Angelina gave me a little push on my back. "Go get your man!" She whispered to me. I looked back at her and gave her the 'I'm scared look'.  She shook her head and mouthed to me, 'You will be fine.' 

I walked up to Cedric as he was extending his hand out to me. I took it and he pulled me into a hug. Lee wolf-whistled.  I rolled my eyes and tried to hold back a laugh at Lee's antics. "You look so beautiful," Cedric whispered. "Not too bad yourself Diggory," I whispered back as I placed a kiss on his cheek. 

"Have fun!" Angelina said as Cedric and I left the common room, we were holding hands. 

"Is butterbeer alright with you?" He asked. I nodded, "Alright then, let's go." Cedric said as he started running with me. This seemed like a scene you would see in a movie. Your hallway crush likes you back, he's a year older, and now you and him are running through a castle together. It was straight out of a movie scene. It was a perfect moment. 

We were both laughing with each other. When we got out of the castle, I saw Harry talking to Professor McGonagall, Ron and Hermione were there standing looking at him sympathetically. Harry is like a little brother to me, he's told me about the Dursleys.
