Till Forever Falls Apart (Fred Weasley x Reader)

Chapter Fourteen

TW: Mentions of Sex but no actual sex, swearing. 

Y/N'S POV 

The rest of Christmas break went by in the blink of an eye. The tension between Fred and I just grew more and more.  It was a little bit awkward and thinking about I technically cheated on Cedric just made me feel more guilty as time went by. 

Harry told me that Fred and George have given him the Marauders Map, that it will do him more good now. The Marauders Map was the key to Fred and George's success. 

I spent the rest of the break with dad, and the Weasleys, and one day I went over to Cedric. He felt like something was wrong but I always brushed it off. I needed to tell Cedric about the kiss with Fred but I am just too scared to tell him. However, he deserves the right to know. 

I just don't know if I could bring myself to say the words to Cedric. 

Today was the first day back at Hogwarts after Christmas Break, dad found out what happened with Ryan and he is furious. He doesn't want me to ever go back to that house if Ryan is still there. I have written to mom but haven't heard back yet which makes me worried. 

After unpacking my trunk, I sat on my bed for a bit. "What's wrong Y/N?" Angelina asked. I groaned and fell back onto my bed. "Just boy issues," I said. She raised her eyebrow at me, "Boy issues?" 

"Fred and Cedric, I love Cedric so much, he's my boyfriend, and he's so good to me, however, there is always Fred that pops into my head, and then it doesn't help that he kissed me over the break," I said. 

"FRED KISSED YOU?!" Angelina yelled any louder and Hogsmeade would hear it. 

I nodded my head, "And the thing about the kiss is it felt so real and so loving and felt so right but yet so wrong. Right in the sense that I was meant to kiss him, wrong in the sense that I have a boyfriend!" I exclaimed. 

"You need to tell Cedric, he needs to know. Even though that might break hearts." Angelina said. 

"I am hanging out with Cedric later tonight, I will tell him, I just don't want him to hand Fred his ass again," I said. 

"Well, Fred kissed his girlfriend, he will be mad at Fred of course," Angelina said. I nodded my head, knowing she was right. 

I had also confided in dad about what happened, dad agreed that I should tell Cedric, even if that means he gets mad and we break up. I just didn't want to break up with Cedric, he was so good to me, even though we would get into arguments a lot, he was so good to me. 

After talking more with Angelina, I decided to go find Cedric. He was sitting on a bench reading a book. I took a deep breath and walked over to him. "Hey Ced," I said as I sat down beside him. He put his bookmark on the page he was reading and shut his book. 

He turned to look at me and placed a kiss on my cheek. 

"I have missed you so much." He said, resting his head on my shoulder. I took a deep breath, "Cedric, we need to talk." I said. He picked his head up and raised an eyebrow at me. 

"Is everything alright darling?" He asked, I could sense the worry in his voice. 

"Promise you won't beat Fred's ass about this?" I asked. 

Cedric looked at me, "Did you cheat on me?"

"Well I don't know what you would consider this, basically after what happened at my mom's place I went to the Burrow. I cried to Fred over what happened and then he kissed me. I didn't know how to respond so I kissed him back but after I told him that it was very wrong and I have a boyfriend that I very much love and that he and I should just remain friends." I said, tears welling up in my eyes.
