A Mondstadt commoner and an Inazuma noble, two different people from two very different lives, but just a small disaster would pair these two together for life.

Thoma, a citizen from Mondstadt was on his way to Inazuma until he had gotten trapped in a storm and washed up along the shores of Inazuma. Now he is trapped on a foreign land with nothing but just a small pocket of mora.

He roamed around trying to find anyone who could help him, but everyone turned him down because of his appearance. His clothes were destroyed from the crash, no one wanted to associate with him. Things began to look hopeless for him until he ran into one special someone.

"Please I'm begging, can anyone just give me some help" Thoma yelled around the city.

He was feeling weak from walking around all day but he couldn't give up. He walked up to a nicely dressed lady and asked for help.

"Excuse me ma'am, I'm sorry to bother you I just wanted to ask if you can help me out, I crashed on Inazuma and have nothing" Thoma was desperate for anyone to listen to him.

People around him began whispering and mumbling, he heard people gasping in shock. The lady turned around to face Thoma with a smile on her face.

"Oh my I am so sorry to hear that, of course I can help you, let me get you back to my home we can fix you up there" The lady gestured for him to follow her.

Finally someone was offering him help, he was glad that he wouldn't end up dead.

"Thank you so much ma'am, you're a lifesaver" He said relieved.

"No worries, I'm glad to help. Tell me your name" She asked.

"My name is Thoma, I'm from Mondstadt and I was trying to sail my way to Inazuma but I got caught in a storm and lost everything I had" He said as he recalled what had happened.

"Oh dear, don't worry I'll help you as much as I can" She said kindly.

They continued walking past the city and down a small path.

"My name is Ayaka by the way" She said turning back at him.

"Oh, well thank you Ayaka for your kindness, I have been asking people all day for help but I got no response, people either ignored me or told me to go away" Thoma said sadly.

"I'm so sorry that happened, I didn't think people would be so rude" She replied.

The continued walking for awhile longer before arriving at Ayaka's home.

"Wow this place looks amazing, it's so far from the rest of the city" Thoma said in awe.

"Come this way, we are going to speak to my older brother to see what we can do for you" Ayaka said while leading him inside.

Thoma hesitated going inside for a moment because of his torn clothes but continued on. He began to wonder about Ayaka, her house was covered with guards and seemed so fancy compared to the other homes he's seen.

"Alright wait right here while I speak to him" She said quietly.

Thoma stood where she directed, Ayaka proceeded to walk down the hall and speak to a well dressed man.

"Ah Ayaka, you've returned, how was your trip?" The man asked.

"It went very well, I have some important news to tell you as well" She responded. "a friend of mine is going to be staying over, is that ok?"

"Oh yes that fine, who is it? Is it your friend Yoimiya?"He questioned

"No it's someone new, Thoma come on out" Ayaka called out for Thoma.

Thoma slowly made his way down, he was very nervous in case he got rejected.

"This is Thoma, he told me that he crashed here on Inazuma and lost everything, I thought we could help him out. Please, he has been rejected by everyone" She pleaded.

The man slowly stood up and eyed down Thoma, he looked as if he was judging him. After a quick inspection he snapped back to a smile.

"Well then, delighted you meet you Thoma. My name is Kamisato Ayato, head of the Kamisato Clan and the Yashiro Commissioner" Ayato said formally.

"Oh um yes, great to meet you to" Thoma said nervously, not sure if he should bow or not.

"So, you seemed to be a bad situation, you truly have nothing?" He questioned.

"No sir, all I have is this small bit of mora in my pocket, other than that there's nothing." Thoma replied.

Ayato took a moment to think, he wasn't 100% sure he wanted to let this strange in his home. Eventually he came up with an idea.

"I see, well I have an offer for you Thoma. I will let you stay here at the Kamisato estate for as long as you like, as long as you agree to work as a housekeeper" Ayato offered.

"Are you sure? I'm perfectly ok with working for you in exchange for shelter but are you sure you want to keep me here?" Thoma questioned

"As long as you work I have no problem with it. So, do you take my offer?" Ayato asked.

"Yes of course, I'll do anything you ask, I'll be devoted to you for as long as I'm here" Thoma replied confidently.

"Wonderful, you may sign here, once you do you can get to work outside in the garden, just clean the area up" Ayato explained as he pulled out a form.

Thoma signed the form and got to work immediately. He didn't want to disappoint Ayato.

"Thank you so much Ayato for letting him stay" Ayaka said.

"I was quite skeptical but he doesn't seem like he will cause much trouble. I must ask though, he seemed quite surprised when I told him who I was, did he know who we are?" Ayato asked.

"Ah, I forgot to mention that to him, I'll go introduce myself formally this time" Ayaka replied while heading outside.

Thoma was hard at work, while he was at Mondstadt he would help out with any house work people had for him so he had no problem with the job Ayato gave him.

"Hello Thoma, I might have forgotten to tell you something important, like who I am" Ayaka said sheepishly.

"No worries, I do wish you told me before, I hope I wasn't disrespectful" Thoma said reassuringly.

"No you were fine, but I guess now I should properly introduce myself" Ayaka said. "my name is Kamisto Ayaka, the daughter of the Kamisato clan."

After Ayaka properly introduced herself she looked around at the progress Thoma made.

"Wow you seem to be doing great out here the place looks so much nicer already" Ayaka said.

"Thank you, I want to do my best so I may not upset Ayato, ah I mean, is there some formal way I should refer to him?" Thoma asked.

"Well most people would refer to him as Lord Kamisato so you should probably do the same, for me I don't mind you calling me by Ayaka" She replied.

"Alright, also I just wanted to ask, is there any way I can get some new clothes?" Thoma asked.

"Oh of course, I'll go get that arranged for you right away" Ayaka said as she rushed back inside. "oh and Thoma, I hope you have a wonderful time in Inazuma"

Ayaka returned back inside, leaving Thoma to finish working in the garden. He was happy to know he has a place to stay, and not only that but he works for nobles. Things were taking a turn for him in his life. He can't wait to see what adventures he will get into in Inazuma.
