The sun had just began rising as Ayato prepared for their trip. He would be heading to Watatsumi island to discuss some civil affairs with Sangonomiya Kokomi, but not only was it a business trip, it was also a day to relax and explore the island itself.

"Alright my lord, everything is prepared. Are we ready to head out?" Thoma said as he finished prepping for the trip.

"Yes, let's head down to the docks, Ayaka should be waiting for us there" Ayato replied.

The men were escorted down to the docks. Ayaka had gone there before to ensure everything was good for their trip. She suggested they arrive early so she could have time to hang out with her friend Kokomi. Ayato had saw this as an opportunity to show Thoma around the island.

"There you guys are, c'mon let's get going" Ayaka shouted out.

She boarded the boat and waved for the men to come over. Once they boarded, the ship set sail. While sailing, Thoma had gotten to see the other islands as they passed by. Each seemed to have it's own unique environment, but he was truly in awe once he saw Watatsumi Island. It had looked nothing like anything else he's seen.

"Well we've arrived, we have some walking to do since the ship cannot go any further" Ayato said as he approached Thoma, "let's go."

The trio left the ship and began to walk towards the large building in the center. Thoma felt as if he had entered a new dimension, and it was even more amazing once he started to walk around it.

Once they got to the center, a woman came out of the building to greet them.

"Good morning your excellency" Ayato said as he greeted her

"Good morning Sir Kamisato, lovely to see you again" She replied as she came down the steps.

They had some friendly talk before she turned to Ayaka and they greeted each other as well. Finally she turned toward Thoma.

"Ah, I don't believe we met before" She stated.

"This here is Thoma, he works for me, I brought him along I hope you don't mind" Ayato replied.

"No worries I have no problem with it" She said as she turned back to him, "good morning Thoma, my name is Sangonomiya Kokomi, I am the Divine Priestess of Watatsumi Island"

"I'm honored to meet you" Thoma said, he wasn't sure what he should say.

"Now that everyone has been introduced, let's begin with the important stuff" Ayato said.

"Yes of course, follow me inside" Kokomi replied as she lead them inside.

Hours had passed of conversation between the two figures, Thoma was not too sure what was going on but he tried his best to follow along. By the time they finished, it was noon.

"I knew it was a great idea to come early, now we have plenty of time to relax" Ayaka said as she walked outside.

"Yes it's very refreshing, what shall we do now?" Ayato asked.

"Well I wanted to go and spend some time with Kokomi, it's been awhile since we got to talk, I hope you don't mind" Ayaka replied.

"That's fine, enjoy yourself, I'll just be exploring" Ayato responded.

Ayaka waved them goodbye as she ran off. Thoma was only half listening, he was busy admiring the land around him.

"So Thoma, would you like to have a look around?" Ayato asked, he had noticed how curious Thoma was.

"That'd be amazing" Thoma replied.

Ayato gestured for him to follow along.

"Oh Thoma look this way" Ayato said as he pointed to his right "this right here is the entrance to another world known as Enkanomiya, a city that was once above the seas but is now deep under the ocean."

Thoma looked down, the entrance was enchanting to look at.

They continued on into a small village.

"Do you remember what I told you about the Vision Hunt Decree?" Ayato questioned.

"Of course" Thoma responded.

"The Watatsumi army played a large role within that. They resisted against the decree and fought back" Ayato explained.

Thoma looked around at all the soldiers around, many were relaxing and having fun, some had battle scars.

"There was moment where the armies numbers were plummeting. The Fatui had tricked the soldiers into using delusions that caused the soldiers to age rapidly" Ayato said.

Ayato continued to show Thoma around the island. He enjoyed the look on Thoma's face as he looked around in awe. Knowing he came from Mondstadt makes his reaction even more fun. The two men began to return back to the shrine.

"It was amazing looking around Watatsumi Island, I do hope we can return sometime soon" Thoma said.

Ayato nodded in agreement. As he was about to cross over to the shrine he noticed something strange. There seemed to be a small path branching off from the main road.

"What's wrong my lord?" Thoma asked.

"There seems to be something we missed" Ayato replied as he began walking closer, "I don't remember this being here"

Thoma followed after Ayato. They then discovered an opening to a small cave, the men entered and were created by a shocking surprise.

"Oh my!" Ayato exclaimed.

Before them was Ayaka and Kokomi together. Ayaka was sitting on top of a desk as Kokomi stood in front of her with her hands on the desk she sat on. When they saw the two men they quickly pulled away from each other.

"Ayaka I, I'm so sorry I didn't mean to" Ayato said as he quickly walked out.

They travelled back far before they stopped to process what they witnessed.

"Well that was quite a shock, I never anything like this was happening" Ayato said in shock, "I don't have anything against it, I'm just very shocked, I think I'm ready to head home"

"Yea, I agree" Thoma responded.

The two men straightened themselves up before returning back, ready to go home. Ayato had not expected the day to end that way, he knows he'll have to confront Ayaka eventually about what had happened, but for now all he needs is to relax.
