It was now the day of the wedding. Everyone in the city was busy in one way or another. Ayato and Ayaka rushed to the venue, Ayato would get dressed there. The entire city seemed to gather for this day. Only a few minutes were left before Ayato was wedded to Kujou Sara.
"Attention everyone, ship 7 is now boarding. All those heading to Mondstadt please board" A man announced.
Thoma had been waiting for hours at the docks, he left last night not wanting to run into Ayato again.
"This is it Thoma, you'll be able to return to a simple life again. As it should be" Thoma said as boarded.
Meanwhile back at the wedding, Ayaka had gone to check on her brother.
"Ayato? It's time" Ayaka said.
Ayato looked at himself one last time in the mirror. He had an uneasy feeling but carried on as usual. Ayato got into position and await for Kujou Sara's arrival. Soon Kujou Sara appeared, she was wearing an extravagant dress. It had been customily tailored to compliment her. The two were now ready, and so began the wedding.
"Hmm seems pretty empty today" A sailor said.
"Obviously, haven't you heard that Lord Kamisato is getting married" Another man said.
"Oh boy, I wish I could have gone" The sailor replied.
Thoma overheard the sailors speaking. He looked out at Inazuma one last time, in the distant he could faintly see the wedding. In that moment he began to think of every memory he had made in Inazuma. His journey had started in tragedy, and now will end with tragedy, but maybe it didn't have to.
"Alright everyone we are setting sail" The captain announced.
"WAIT!" Thoma shouted.
"What?" The captain asked.
"I don't wanna go, I want to stay" Thoma said.
"You sure? If you leave now you can't return" The captain replied.
"I've never been more sure in my life, I know what I want, and what I want" Thoma said "what I want, is to be with Ayato!"
Thoma rushed off the boat and ran towards the venue.
"That guy sure is weird" The captain said.
Thoma ran through the city, he had never moved so fast in his life. As he ran through the city, all he could think about was the memories he made with Ayato.
(Guys I have never been to a wedding besides the one I was the flower girl for when I was 3 so I'm just gonna guess how these things go)
"Kujou Sara, do you take Kamisato Ayato as your lawfully wedded husband, to be together through sickness and health and to forever love him?" The man asked.
"I do" Kujou Sara said.
"And Kamisato Ayato, do you take Kujou Sara as your lawfully wedded wife, to be together through sickness and health and to forever love her?" The man asked.
Ayato looked at Kujou Sara and answered.
"I d-"
"WAIT!" A voice called out.
Ayato was interrupted by a voice calling out.
"STOP THIS WEDDING!" The voice said.
"Thoma?" Ayato questioned.
Thoma finally arrived at the wedding, his legs ached and he was very out of breath but he made it.
"This wedding can't continue any longer" Thoma said.
"What is going on here?" The man asked.
"No let him speak" Kujou Sara replied.
Thoma walked down the aisle as he spoke.
"I have made a big mistake" Thoma said, "everyone, the day of the final event, Kamisato Ayato had proposed to me"
The crowd gasped in shock.
"I was foolish enough to turn him down, I thought that I could never marry someone like him, I'm only a commoner from Mondstadt after all" Thoma continued, "but I know now that I couldn't leave without saying what I feel"
Thoma felt as if he was about to collapse but continued anyway.
"I have a confession to make" He said, "when I rejected you, I did it thinking it was for the best, but I see now that I was wrong. I love you, and I can't deny it any longer. I don't know if it's to late but I'll try anyway"
Thoma fell down to his knees.
"Kamisato Ayato, will you please take me back and marry me?" Thoma asked.
Everyone stood up in shock awaiting Ayato's answer. Ayato slowly stepped down and walked towards Thoma. He lifted him up and looked him straight in the eye, Thoma was confused, but suddenly he was pulled in close. Ayato brought Thoma close and kissed him. In that moment, the world melted around them, all they knew was that they loved each other, and nothing can break them apart.
The crowd was silent at first but slowly an applause appeared. Soon people were cheering, even Kujou Sara. After what felt like forever, the two men pulled away with large smiles on their faces, Thoma was even crying.
"Thoma, you don't know how much I love you, you've made me the happiest man in the world" Ayato said, "everyone I'd like to make an announcement. The one I truly love is the man right before me, Thoma"
Ayato turned back around and approached Kujou Sara.
"Please forgive me Kujou Sara I am sorry to leave you like this" Ayato said.
"No worries, I understand. I'm happy you can finally be happy" She replied.
Ayato gave her a thankful smile and turned back to the crowd.
"Now let us continue this wedding the proper way" Ayato announced.
"But I'm not even dressed" Thoma said.
"You still look beautiful to me, and I cannot wait any longer to be with you" Ayato replied.
He pulled Thoma over and the wedding continued.
"Well then, Kamisato Ayato do you take Thoma as your lawfully wedded husband, to be together through sickness and health and to forever love him?" The man asked.
"I do" Ayato replied.
"And Thoma, do you take Kamisato Ayato as your lawfully wedded husband, to be together through sickness and health and to forever love him?" The man asked.
"I, I do" Thoma responded.
"Well then, you may now kiss the bri- I mean groom" The man said.
The two men embraced each other in a long passionate kiss.
"I'm gonna be honest, I always thought there was something going on between those two" Beidou said.
The rest of the day was filled with happiness and cheer, the wedding continued with only minor changes. What could have been a horrific day turned into a fairytale. In the end, everyone was happy, or for better words, everyone was feeling gayly.
"Well the day is coming to an end, you know what that means" Ayato said.
"What?" Thoma questioned.
"It's honeymoon time!" Ayato exclaimed, "thank you everyone for joining us today, but now it's time to spend some time with my true love"
Thoma and Ayato left, but the party continued to rage on.
"How are you feeling Kujou Sara?" Ayaka asked.
"I will admit I'm feeling quick shocked but I happy for them" She responded.
"OMG Kujou Sara?" A voice called out.
Kujou Sara turned around and met the voice that called out to her.
"ROSARIA?"
