Chapter 7

Poe quickly left toward the adress he was told to go. He entered the hospital and walked toward the woman at the reception.

"H-hello i was told my father was here"

The young boy entered the hospital room where he was told was his father.
He walked toward the bed and seen the man lying unconscious.

"Oh you must be his son right?" Asked the doctor that just walked into the room. Poe turned around to look at the black haired man who walked toward him with a smile on his face.

"Dont worry kiddo he was lucky enough and didn't get too many serious injury" said the man and the boy didnt know if he should be reliefed or not.

"What happened ?" He asked looking at his father.

"Hm how to say that... from what i heard, a truck crashed into his car" said the doctor and Poe's eyes widned.

"What?? How? Is he really okey??" He asked really worried. Even if his father didnt take good care of him he still cared a lot about him.

"He is dont worry im a good doctor after all" said the man with a pround smile.

"The guy in the truck ran through a red light, there is a possibility that it was intentional since the person fled immediately after" he explained not making things any better for the young teeneger.

"I see... Thank you doctor- uh"

"Doctor Mori Ogai" said the man.

"Thank you doctor Mori i will be going now" replied the boy and left. Poe came back to his house really tired. He still was really worried about his father too so he wasn't able to sleep well. Still at some point he was so exhausted that he passed out.

"Poe come here i want to introduce you to someone" the man said and the little child nodded and followed him.

"This is ----- i hope the both of you will be good friend" he said as Poe looked at the blurry face of the boy in front of him. The boy seemed to be smiling to him happy to have a new friend.

"Im so happy to meet you Poe!"

Poe's eyes widned as he woke up from the dream.

'Again?? What going on with those dreams... i dont want to remember that...' he thought as he let out a sigh.

The young boy left his house for school and saw Ranpo waiting for him.

"Ayo whats with those dake circles?? You didn't sleep did you?" Asked his friend worryingly.

"Im fine dont worry..." he replied looking exhausted.

"What happened yesterday ? Where did you go to?" Ranpo asked but Poe didnt answer so his friend decided to change the subject.

"Well... we have class with Kunikida today, i hope he won't be too annoyed since he had Dazai's class just before us. He always yell at everyone when it happens, Dazai sure know how to get on his nerves" said Ranpo with a smile .

"Really? Uh-... i really hope he won't make the teacher too angry..." replied Poe à little worried.

"Dont be so worried it'll be fine" he replied with a little chuckle.

A new school day started and Poe was feeling terrible. He didn't eat anything since yesterday's lunch and didn't get goid rest this night. He tryed so hard to stay awake and listen to the teacher but his eyes closed on theire own and he slowly went to sleep.
