Chapter 11

"Is he waiting for me already ?" He asked himself as he went toward the window to see if his friend was there. He saw Ranpo sitting on the ground while playing with the cat from the other day again. He smiled, seeing him sudenly pushed back all the dark thoughts he had a second ago and now he couldn't wait to go see him.

"Hi Ranpo" he said with a tired expression as he walked toward his friend.

"Hi Poe- uh you don't look well, did you not get enough sleep?" He asked worryingly.

"Im fine... just à little tired..." he replied looking away.

"You really don't look fine, you should stay home and rest!" Said Ranpo and Poe sighed.

"Its okey i dont want to..." he said, he would rather go to school than rest and take the risk to fall asleep and have those nightmares again. But Ranpo was determinated to stop his friend from going to school.

"No way, you'll just  pass out like last time. Im staying with you anyway so please let me take care of you!" He said and Poe looked at him surprised. 'He's so cute' he thought as he looked at Ranpo's worried expression.

"Ah- alright...." he said looking down while blushing.

"Are you more confortable to go to my house or stay at yours?" Asked Ranpo.

"Well... if its okey with you... would  it be possible to go to yours?.." he asked à little embarrassed to make such a request.

"Fine by me lets go" he said as he turned toward his house and went to open the door.

"Come in" he called Poe and the boy walked slowly toward the house. He entered with Ranpo and looked around.
The inside of the house was really welcoming with a lot of furnitures and warm colors. It was completely diffrent from his house which was almost empty.

"It's a little messy sorry for that" said Ranpo a little embarrassed.

"Oh its fine dont worry about that-"

"Meow" Poe looked toward the cat surprised.

"Oh i forgot to tell you about him, i hope you dont mind" said Ranpo with an embarrassed smile.

"Its fine, i like animals" he replied and went to pat the cat who purred happily while Ranpo looked toward him with a warm smile.

"Lets go to my room so you can lay down and rest" said Ranpo as he took his friend's hand.

"Oh- its really not necessary-" replied poe a little embarrassed.

"Pie you look like you haven't slept in a whole week, are you having nightmares ?" He asked as he dragged him upstairs where was his room.

"Well... i wouldn't call them that... it's just some not really happy memories that are coming back..." he answered without thinking, he wasn't planning on saying anything at first but the warm of Ranpo's hand holding his made him feel at ease.

"Oh... isn't that the same thing ? They are basically things you would rather forget" replied Ranpo as he walked into his room and sat his friend on the bed.

"... i don't think it's something i would want to forget either..." he replied, just thinking about the past made Poe feel anxious and sad, Ranpo saw that and decided to change the subject.

"Do you want something to eat or drink?" He asked and Poe shook his head.

"Then you should get some sleep i'll be here to chase those bad memories so you don't have to worry" said Ranpo with a smile, Poe looked at him and felt relief for some reason. He sighed and layed down, he was so tired that he immediatly fell asleep.

Poe slowly woke up and was surprised when he realized that he didn't had any dreams. He opened his eyes and the first thing he saw was his friend sleeping face right in front of him. His eyes widened in surprise, he didn't move too scared to wake him up.

'If i don't move before he wakes up it would fell weird wouldn't it? But if i do and wake him up it would not be better either!! What to do??!' Poe had an internal struggle over what to do until he felt a grip on his hand tighten.

The young boy looked at his hand and saw his fingers intertwined with Ranpi's fingers. He imediatly turned red  as a tomato and wasn't able to think about anything else. After a long moment he calmed down à little bit but  his heart was still pounding really loudly and wasn't even close to calming down.

He looked at Ranpo who was still sleeping without a care in the world about how he made Poe feel in such a situation.

In the instant of a second a completely crazy thought crosses his mind. His face was only à few centimeters away from Ranpo's and this thought of his was coming and going in his head and he didn't know what to do with it.

The little voice in his head was screaming the same thing again and again : 'Kiss him!'

After failing all of my exams i am finally back with a new chapter hehe :,)
