Chapter 14

"Uh- who is it Poe??" Asked Ranpo as he looked at Elias surprised.

"Uh well- that an old friend of mine he came for a few days to visit me" replied Poe as he helped Elias to sit on the stairs.

"Hm? Oh- Are you Poe's friend?! Waw Congratulations Poe i'm so pround of you for finally making other friends than me" said Elias with a spile as Poe looked away à little embarrassed.

"Hey don't say this kind of things..." Wispered poe looking toward his friend  who was smiling.

"But it's the truth, i was your only friend back then, you wouldn't even leave my side for a minute" he replied and laughed remembering the good old day as Poe looked away and slightly blushed from embarrassment.

"Well Poe made à lot of friends at school, he's in good care with us. By the way i'm Ranpo Nice to meet you" said Ranpo standing by the door with a smile but also an really uncomfortable feeling inside his chest as he looked at the two in front of him.

"Nice to meet you too, i'm Elias" he replied as he looked toward Ranpo with a smile.

"Well now we have to go to school Poe" he said but his friend looked away à little uncomfortable about this situation.

"Well i'm sorry but i cant leave Elias by himself" he replied and Ranpo looked confused.

"Why not?" He asked as the uncomfortable feeling grew even more.

"Yeah exactly why not!? Go to school you idiot it's important !" Said Elias while crossing his arms.

"Sigh... Elias no matter how you try you still can't walk properly also your wheelchair is broken, how am i suposed to leave you here knowing you can't do anything by yourself" Poe scolded him.

"I can do à lot by myself! I don't need anyones help so stop looking at me with so much pity in your eyes, it's not because i don't see well that i can't see that look on your face!" Elias looked down with an angry expression, he hated when people said that he was powerless and needed someone by his side all the time. What he hated even more is that it was true.

"Hey Elias don't be mad im sorry i didn't mean to say it that way" Poe apologized feeling guilty for saying that.

"Elias it's not à bad thing to rely on someone when you have difficulties, it doesn't make you weak so you should accepte Poe's help. I'll be going now take care" said Ranpo as he left the two friends and closed the door.

'Why do i feel like that? It's a good thing that he met with his friend so why do i hate it so much?...' Ranpo couldn't stop thinking about this new feeling trying to figure out why he felt it. Because of this his mood droped to 0 and he couldn't concentrate on his class. During lunch he didn't even want to eat, not even his favorites snacks.

"Something is really wrong with Ranpo... he's not eating anything..." Yosano wispered to Dazai who nodded in agreement.

"That right, since this morning he doesn't look well. He who usually is so cheerful is now looking depressed" he replied keeping his voice low.

"Exactly, but why? Did something change from usual ?-" asked the girl then sudenly realized something.

"Yesterday both weren't at school and now Poe still didn't come back..." she said.

"Do you think they had a fight ? But knowing them i don't think that the case... Maybe something that happened this morning ?" Replied Dazai as they looked toward Ranpo who was sitting next to them lost in his thoughts.

"Uh... even if we ask him he won't tell us anything, we should go ask Poe if we want to find out what happened-" Yosano sudenly stoped talking and looked back toward where Dazai was sitting only to find out that the brunette was gone.
