Chapter 17

Heedog : Alex, where are you?

Heedog : I knew what happened between you and Sunghoon.

Heedog : Are you done at your work? I'll pick you up at the restaurant if you're still there. Or are you at the condo already?

Heedog : Let's talk. Reply to me once you read this.

Lee Ah Eun did nothing but only to read her cousins message. Ever since earlier, Heeseung wanted to talk to her but she doesn't want to. She didn't even say goodbye to him when she gone out after school and went to the restaurant. She just doesn't want to talk about it anymore.

But still, she can't resist her cousin; especially knowing the fact that he is so much worried for her everytime. She clearly remembers him say last time 'please consider me'.

Therefore, she didn't think twice responding to him now.

Lee Ah Eun : I'm alright now, Hee. You don't have to worry about me. I can handle myself. Just focus on your mom, okay?

"Yah" Sunghoon loudly said as he tried to call for Ah Eun who's sitting at the bench from afar; busy going through her phone.

As he stood in the center of the ice rink, Sunghoon was drenched in sweat. He has been  practicing since early. He invited Ah Eun to come  work for him as his secretary right away after she finished her shift at the restaurant.

"What?" She looked up on him from afar, with uninterested face.

"My tumbler" he said, asking her to give it to him.

"Come on, get it here, get out from the rink" she said as she walked at the end side of the ice rink while holding his tumbler.

"Yah! Who's the boss here huh?" He rolled his eyes, noticing her words on him; it was way too unrespectful for a worker to talk like that to it's boss.

"What do you want me to do then? Get in the rink?" She still asked, as she looked pretty annoyed.

"Yeah, exactly" he smirked.

"What?" She furrowed her forehead, hearing that and seeing his annoying smile at the same time.

"Get in here, give me the tumbler" he even pointed the tumbler that she was holding it.

"But I don't know how to skate" she admitted.

"Just get in" he seriously responded.

And so, she can't do anything but to obey his command. She sat back down as she wear the skating shoes on the side while Sunghoon was just watching and waiting for her.

She then entered the ice and started to glide carefully. She truly doesn't know how to skate, though, which is why it took her so long to approach him. She appears to be having a lot of difficulty maintaining her balance, but she is still trying.

While Sunghoon can be seen smiling, seeing her struggles just to get through him, "Can't you be faster? I'm thirsty, you know"

But hearing that made her feel more annoyed of him. Since of what happened at the school earlier, she was mad on him but she can't do anything about it. And now, he's still trying to make her more pissed off. Looks like he's really messing the hell out of her, but she can't even get why he is doing that, what was his reasons behind it.

"Well, if you're REALLY thirsty then come here, get it from me instead"

However, he just smirked and didn't talk as he wait for her to reach him.

He smiled, thinking the words she said, as she's already standing at front of him,
"Lee Ah Eun" he says, making her eyed him.

"I would never come to you. I am Park Sunghoon and you're my secretary" he stared directly in her eyes and so she is. "It's one of the rules"
