Lee Ah Eun arrived to the Japanese Restaurant where she worked and immediately headed to the locker room to change out of her school uniform into her job's clothing.
But right after she had finished getting dressed and was just placing her belongings in the locker, she noticed the locker next to hers, it was Ni-ki's.
Ni-ki isn't in the restaurant yet and she wonders where he is, since he usually arrives first or they would occasionally go to work together.
Did he just disappeared? At this whole day, she only seen him once, and that was the time she was in the school's soccer field, the time that he completely ignored her as if he didn't see her.
She started to think again what had happened to him. Ni-ki was acting strange recently and it's making her curious. Is there anything wrong?
She even tried to contact him and send him messages but he won't reply to any of it. He was offline the whole day, the last time he was seen active when the time during their lunch break at the school earlier.
So then, before going to her work to serve the customers, she decided to visit Chef Mako in the kitchen.
"Chef Mako" she called for him, who's busy cooking some dishes.
"Yes? Ms. Lee? Is there anything wrong?"
"Can I ask you something?" She asked.
"You're already asking though" Chef Mako giggled on her, really, he's like Ni-ki when he talked like that, it made her think of him even more, "Anyways, Ni-ki will be absent for today" he suddenly informed.
She was pretty surprised hearing that since she didn't even ask anything, yet Chef Mako knew already that her question is gonna be about Ni-ki, "Why is he absent? I can't contact him, he's out of reach. What happened to him?"
"They had whole day soccer training right? It's his day off since he was drained and exhausted, and I thought he needed a rest so I told him to just stay home and take a rest" Chef Mako said with a smile.
"He didn't insist to come to work?" She questioned, since she knew him well, but whatever maybe he's really that exhausted, besides it's a whole day practice, if it's her she would die already.
"Actually, he's the one who decided to just stay home, he messaged me earlier during lunch break and told me he wouldn't come."
So he did receive my messages but he never replied.
"Why? Is there anything bothering you?" Chef Mako asked in worry.
"Um, no, sorry to disturb you. I should go to work, Chef Mako."
"Alright, don't miss him too much" he chuckled, trying to tease her towards Ni-ki.
She just left and proceeded to work.

"Ni-ki, will you be alright?" Sunoo asked as he was in the Nishimura's villa since earlier, after school.
During the earlier training, Ni-ki accidentally injured his ankle a little. It wasn't particularly painful, but it still hurt him, and he was just sitting on the couch in the living room to rest. The other lads conducted their errands with their own hectic schedules, so Sunoo was the one to take him home after the training and treat his foot.
"It's all fine now, Sunoo hyung. Thanks for treating it, I owe you one" Ni-ki winked on Sunoo then looked at his foot that was extended on the coffee table at front of the couch that he was sitting on. His foot was wrapped with bandage.
While Sunoo can be found smiling a lot, "You really owe me one so you have to treat me something delicious after the sports fest. You have to tell me everything you feel about towards Heeseung hyung's cousin" he smirked.
